Do they come with 24gb of VRAM? wow

Based on rumours David, but will wait for the benchmarks and final details when released... But it's based on my principal decision to go for more vram 🙂 related to DX12 stuff

Based on the rumours it comes with 11 gb and 24 gb so we will see lol

Based on the rumours it will come with either 11GB or 12GB of VRAM, depending on the bus width. 24GB will be reserved for the RTX 3090 or the next TITAN, whatever they decide to call it. GDDR6 is expensive and in very high demand, so it will be a long time before VRAM capacities are doubled.

RTX 3090 has got to be at least £2000

The TITAN RTX has an MSRP of $2.499 so that would be the expected price. Even though we are likely getting some nice performance gains from the next generation, I don't think prices will be decreased at all. NVIDIA know well by now that people are very much willing to pay $1.000 or more for a GPU.

Isn't it like that:

2080-->3080

2080TI-->3090

RTX Titan --> Amperè Titan

There are too many conflicting rumours to tell for sure. The GA100 leaker doesn't seem to list an RTX 3080 Ti for now, but then there was that ASUS leak. Others seem convinced that the TITAN Ampere will be named RTX 3090 to eliminate the case of a TITAN product losing the performance crown to AMD. What's for sure though is that the RTX 3080 will not have 24GB VRAM, and that if there are multiple 24GB SKUs, they will be priced closely.

Y'all are focusing on Nvidia but don't forget that AMD is also going to announce some new cards. And a nice performance jump is expected on that front also. If rumors are true, I think we'll benefit from some nice long awaited price war.

Are Nvidia really that shallow??

The TITAN brand has been for several years associated with the halo GPU of each generation, so if AMD claim the performance crown then it would be a huge blow to the name.

Still though, that is one of the many unconfirmed rumours, so take it with a big grain of salt.

AMD will definitely challenge NVIDIA to a big degree with their node advantage, but if you're expecting a price war you might be disappointed. They could have started one with Navi but chose not to, instead pricing their offerings right below NVIDIA, who countered all of the RX 5000 GPUs with the Super line-up and price cuts before they were even released. The mess that is the RX 5600 XT happened because of that.

Curious how all will be released.... Time will tell...

This has also been spotted 😉

How do you even know it will come with 24gb vram? Nothing has been announced.

Must be nice to have about $1,600.00 lying around!

Can you buy me one as well?  😉

This is an older leak, GA103 has been cancelled now. It was speculated that it was to be used for the RTX 3080, but with AMD becoming a bigger threat, they probably decided to use a cut-down GA102 chip instead. The last time we saw the Gx102-class chip being used for a x080-class GPU was with the GTX 780.

The full GA102 has a 384-bit bus, so the final VRAM amount will depend on how much of the memory controller they decide to cut down for the RTX 3080. 10GB for 320-bit, 11GB for 352-bit and 12GB for 384-bit.

Thanks for the heads-up, price point rumours are that it will be similar to the current line up despite more vram?

We have absolutely no price point rumours so far, those are usually decided right before release. NVIDIA are probably waiting for AMD to make the first move, and quite curiously, there has been an exceptionally small amount of leaks regarding AMD products the past year or so. We know nearly nothing about Zen 3, and even less about RDNA 2 outside the 50% performance/Watt improvement and DirectX 12 Ultimate support from the official slides.
