Everyone is entitled to an opinion on MFS but not about other members.

I'll just restate what others have said.. A sim is a tool.. and a tool is all in how you use it. some 8 year olds have found their parents keys and driven their car, it doesn't make the car a toy.  I can boot up x-plane and fly it like a game. That would be on me, not x-plane.

 

 

From seeing several videos releasing the ladt 48 hours it seems that its difficult to capture the sim without stutters. They report that the sim is butter smooth in game.

Of course you’re allowed to have an opinion on fellow members but if it’s derogatory you would be advised to keep it to yourself. That’s what you signed up to when you joined.

I'm hoping that the game cache would improve performance over time.  I wasnt greatly impresssed by this particular video but I cant tell if it was the sim or the video.  I can definitely say the pilot was off a bit.  any landing you can walk away from though.

On the other hand (you have different fingers) -  I was very glad to see the Earths shadow making an appearance in the default sim sky(at about the 50 min mark).  something not right about the colors though. too much red in the upper sky imo and clear sky sunsets are often quite simple without much color.

I'd like to see a flight over a solid cloud deck at sunset showing the shadow line that progresses as the sun 'sets'.

I also would say.  Saying the new sim is stuttery or has bad fps one thing (the person saying it perceives these as facts, whether true or not,  so its OK).. saying the sim is a kids game insults anyone planning to use it.

This and every time I've had a real pilot at my house (other than me lol), what do they do with my sims?  Take a jet under the golden gate?  Do a barrel roll in the class bravo over their house?  YES!  Airline pilots want to do what they can't in the real world.  Simmers want to do what real pilots do LOL
