Enough on the trees!!

They know, we know they know, and we know by now that your upset about the tree size.

Anymore on the trees and the post will vanish, don’t ruin another topic with the endless complaints about it.

Its really getting old after all this time, especially when it’s been acknowledged by the developer.

I wish people would stop beeching about trees. Fir the most part, the trees are fine. Yes, there are areas that need to be spruced up, but from some comments yew wood think the entire MSFS world is a primeval forest.

Great and how long until you fix the trees Asobo? You know, just have a look at Sydney.... 🥱🤦‍♂️🙄

If you watch the developer video you will hear they specifically talk about it with Asobo's CEO Sebastian Wloch even mentioning at his own airport the tree size was wrong and needed fixing.

He explained there is a data base of tree species for the sim. This includes tree size however in some parts of the world certain species are not as tall as they exist in other parts of the world.

In the CEO's own case he took photos within the sim and the real airport and reported back.

So they do know, they know there are errors and admitted they readily exist. They have a way of fixing it as they run through the other "backlog" of fixes needed.

I almost half expected them to mention you personally as they all smiled when tree-size was brought up.

Take the time to watch the Developer Q&A video posted above, they explain clearly that they are very much aware of the issue, as well as the challenges they’re facing to accurately represent trees.

Yup, if I recall correctly, in that Q&A all tree of them commented on it and said the issue had been logged as a bug.

It’s actually an inside joke. On another forum a guy wanted a topic pinned and rather than saying pin it he said pine it. It kind of caught on so pins became pines. People would be like “pine it” rather than pin it. Hence the reason he always gets 🌲🌲🌲 when I pin his updates.

Thanks for the clarity..........

I could be wrong, but this product is far too important for Asobo to drop the ball here and thus, I expect we'll be seeing lots of small updates between now and Christmas. Things may magically just disappear in huge numbers without anyone noticing as they fix trees, buildings, runways, etc., all in places many of us may not fly to. That's the beauty of having a product like this be so heavily connected to the home base. Given what I've seen so far, I doubt heavily that this will all go unaddressed for ages. There's just too much riding on this.
