I preordered like a month ago, and I hadn't considered moving to Kiribati at that time 😉 However, it works fine on standard, so I'm not sure what gives.

What’s your download size? Assuming it’s bigger than 91gb if your downloading the premium deluxe

Guys, if you get the insert discs message, you can try to terminate the .exe process and restart. If that doesn't work, I suggest you bite the bullet and get the xbox gamepass and go for the standard version for now. Later today/tonight you should be able to use your premium deluxe. 

If someone knows a proper fix then by all means let us know! 

Oh, and I remembered something: I changed the drive for where my ms store installs the app from my C to my D drive. Maybe that makes a difference (wouldn't surprise me one bit). I did that at the same time as we all were able to download the 20 or so megabytes a while ago.

Sorry. I just signed up for the $1 Xbox Gamepass and chose the Standard edition. When my one month is up, I'll buy the full edition.

By the way, you can turn down the FS music that plays while you are downloading by right clicking on your sound icon on the taskbar and choosing Open Volume Mixer.

Just remember to change it back, and then tomorrow remember to change your date and region settings in Windows.

It says 90GB

I did that too so that's not it.

That’s interesting then seems the download size is the same whether it’s standard or premium... maybe there’s a follow up download for content.

I heard elsewhere (sorry, don't know where but it might have been a dev YT video) that the size difference between the versions is very small. Less than a gigabyte. My standard edition is downloading 91.36 gigabytes right now.

As mentioned in another thread: the digital licence for those who pre-ordered will be activated once the simulator is released in their region. Trick only works for GamePass, non Steam users. Meanwhile expect to get that "Insert Disk" message. By the wat, GamePass users, use it at your own risk.

I totally agree with you, it’s like those choosing to do this are no more than 10 year olds not knowing any better. What makes it worse is like those who break the law then post on FB to brag about it. To me it shows the Gaming mentality of happy to use cheats EOR

I got through without gamepass to at least the download process
