I think I will see how this plays out all day....maybe try it later this afternoon using Europe as the region.  Not time this morning....need to get to work.

Getting the xbox gamepass for pc (beta) and just starting the standard edition fixed it. Now its installing properly here in my wonderful beach house in Kiribati.

No, but for now it seems like it's the only thing that would work. The premium deluxe edition asked me for discs. The standard edition didnt. I can access the standard edition through xbox game pass. 

Heh!  I was looking through the regions and times the download would be available there and saw Antarctica!  Someone is optimistic.

When I worked for Warbirds, Dale (the owner) said we had people on every continent except Antarctica.  He'd give a free account to anyone from there just so he'd cover all the continents.

Also, these "cannot wait" folk maybe don't realise there is a lot of controls setup to be done. So it will some time before flying can be done .. LOL

NDA will never be lifted. Everything that happened during alpha / beta will be under wraps.

Yes, which costed me the price of a chewing gum (10kr or about 1usd). 😉

When did you get that prompt for disks? After the 90GB download?
