October 8, 20205 yr Yep, all controls no longer responding. All axis' are assigned and show to be working in the controls tab, but do not work in the plane.
October 8, 20205 yr I had not had the same problem for days. Then I replaced my old CH Pro pedals with new VKB pedals and the sim could not use any of the controllers (stick, throttle, rudder, etc), but the MSFS Options/Controls could see them all just fine. So I just shut down MSFS and rebooted it and all was fine. So I think it's a USB problem somehow. For some reason if you unplug a controller, or a USB hub, or if windows power management shuts down a USB port that seems to be what causes issues. The issue being that Options/Controls can see a controller, but the game itself cannot. I'm almost completely convinced its some sort of USB problem in Windows. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks, Gerry Hi Gerry! I have the exact same issues since the latest patch (1.11.7.0). I have the Logitech yoke (Saitek Pro Flight Yoke) and pedals and if I start a flight only with an arrival airport (like 11 nm out) the controls are initially OK but then degenerates so that on short final, nothing works. Full rudder gives nothing and increasing thrust lags with 60 seconds. I saw your post was older but did you report this or even find a solution?

I have a second monitor for pop outs... when I’m clicking on the ATC window on that monitor, the cockpit controls go dead. I was confused why I couldn’t throttle up after talking to ATC... that’s why. This has started happening for me too, probably in the last four or five days, it seems to be mainly when taxiing to runway or on final approach, when a lot of inputs are being made. The controls freeze for 10-20 seconds but the sim carries on. so i end up taxying into a field or go round in a circle ir rudder is full over. Mouse clicks on switches etc in the cockpit still seem to work I only use the FBW A320 which is the stable version
January 5, 20215 yr MSFS randomly seems to cut my throttle occasionally. I have to take it back to zero and turn it up again and it's fine. It's just so random - maybe it's conflicting with something. January 11, 20224 yr Was this ever resolved? I have heard of mouse on the ATC panel causing similar issues. If you move the mouse cursor, control begins to return.
February 9, 20224 yr I have this issue also - when mouse hovers over "pop up" on second monitor all peripheral control functions, exluding being able to move mouse, stop. Simulator continues but goes to full throttle - doesn't seem to be a USB issue. Help gratefully sought.

Need to click my mouse button back on main display to get my controls back. It's a pain in the butt when you forget to do this. Just thought I'd share this in case someone else runs into this. I’ve just had this happen on my last two flights. Warthog throttle, and all asociated buttons etc, stopped working, as did my rudder pedals. Somewhat bizarrely, the joystick continued to function. No chance of trying to land on full power however. Both instances happened as I was communicating with ATC approaching my destination. After much panicking, I also discovered that a mouse click on the main view seemed to wake things up. So a year and-a-half after the thread was started, and the problem is still evident. You’d have thought they would have squished that particular bug by now. 5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.
February 19, 20224 yr I had this happen for the 1st time today - hopped into the C208B. Before engine start, I always run the controls throughout their range to check everything and make sure that I get proper control response. I grabbed my throttle to do the same and... nothing. The ironic thing was I could work the throttle throughout its range and hear the sound effects (throttle sliding and hitting the stops) but the throttle in the cockpit wouldn't move. I went to grab it with the mouse - now the mouse wouldn't work - I couldn't move any control or switch. I restarted the sim and - same thing. I had no control with any peripheral. I shut down the sim, rebooted Windows, then started the sim for the 3rd time. Now, everything worked and I was able to fly normally. Randall Rocke
February 21, 20224 yr Well, mine has reached new heights, and is cutting off control constantly. I’m having to keep clicking the mouse to “wake up” the throttle and rudder pedals. No fun at all when coming in for a tricky crosswind landing. I’m not running any plug-ins whatsoever, so everything is vanilla. Also just had a completely fresh install of MSFS. I might have to shelve this sim for a few months, and see if any future updates are able to remedy the situation. I fly other sims without ANY controller dropout. 5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.
