September 2, 20205 yr So I suspect that the Xbox Launcher/Steam Launcher update patches the executable files and the files needed for it which includes the installer stuff etc. The 87kb file can be whatever fix they had to apply to stuff that the launcher downloads (Maybe the simconnect modules) or some file in some panel or gauges that causes stability issues.

September 2, 20205 yr There is a lot more to bug fixing then the size of the patch. Most of the time is identifying where the issue is coming from and figuring out how to code the fix. You get the joys of going "Here is 10000 different PC configurations that all have install issues try and find what is the commonality between them all and what we need to do to fix it"

How do you know from a deep technical level what each of those fixes actually entails??? Sick of the constant doom merchants like yourself to be honest.
