For Steam users, your Content Manager in-game will show a 79GB+ update with a comment stating that you need to restart in order to update this...but when you restart the game nothing happens...still the same thing showing in the Content manager.

Will wait it out a bit...but if i have to reinstall jusat to get this update...hehe, I wont be bothering with it.

Is the restart optional? In other words, can I just ignore the update message and play as normal until things work out? There are no bug fixes in this update that I'm waiting on.

live weather wind issue is still there 😞

yea and so are all of the other issues...this was not expected to be a patch that fixes anything other than install issues and simconnect issues, period. Check back around holidays to see what actually gets fixed for this year.

But if I were you, I wouldn't be holding my breath. No seriously.

Seems like not much to get excited about, except for those few with installation issues (or the Vatsim crowd). 🤷‍♂️

When is the next patch?

Hopefully we are not waiting until the first DLC (months away?)

Not completely sure about Steam, but if an update is out it is considered mandatory and you will not be allowed to play until it's installed.

This is what the start screen looked like for me, should be similar for Steam users as well.

Try verify files on Steam and here we go

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D,

MSI RTX 5090,

64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5,

Tuf Gaming X870Plus, 1200W PSU

English is not my first language.

You can just use the sim normally on Steam, no update required so far.

The patch is now live on the Microsoft Store, but still working its way to Steam. We'll update you once we confirm the patch is officially available on Steam. Thanks for your patience!

Oh, fantastic, I can't download and get error code 0x803FB107.

verifying files on a 100gb install...ewwwww i dont think i want to be bothered with that for a 300mb hot fix.

The only people that will need to reinstall are the people per the link that couldn't get the sim to install on day 1.

The file names on the content download were interesting. A lot of panel and avionics files....
