September 2, 20205 yr So mine was working perfectly. Especially after the Radeon update. Had support for 3 monitors and it was running great. The mandatory update ruined it all. How do I get my money back?
September 2, 20205 yr It was mentioned in another thread that AMD's software does not recognise the simulator anymore because the executable's name was changed. Should be an easy fix for the next driver update, but perhaps Asobo should consider making its name consistent to prevent this from breaking with every single client update.

September 2, 20205 yr All right guys, give the guy a break--he does have a legit issue--a forced update from M$ broke his previously-working configuration, and they've provided him no way to get back to his working config. You just might find yourself in a pretty cranky state if it happened to you. September 2, 20205 yr Author I just got it back up after deleting and reinstalling the display drivers. Of which previously prevented the install altogether. But that was an Aorus issue. I just get wound up when stuff finally works, then gets blown up. And there's really no tech support for anything Microsoft. I get there's going to be issues with a new program. But it's quite frustrating trying to get this stuff all back up and running right.
September 2, 20205 yr Moderator I am absolutely delighted to read that you've solved the problem so quickly. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Glad it was fixed...a bit annoying you needed to re-install the drivers. I have an nVidia card but maybe its the same on AMD but once I launched the game nVidia detected the new file path because it was still a the same .exe name just the file path I think changed.
September 2, 20205 yr DarkMantle makes an interesting point. Exactly what support is available from Microsoft and how responsive is it? Cheers Steve Hall
September 2, 20205 yr LOL! People act as though they had to get financing to buy this title. I can fit a hundred bucks worth of groceries into one bag these days - and it’s gone in less than a week! People have a right to be upset. After all, there was a lot of hype and promise related to this one - and bummer! - it’s not perfect. DUH! It’s a new and very complex piece and anyone expecting to get perfection out of the box is living on another planet. Calm down. Don’t get ur panties into a twist. Look at this as an investment in an eventual future of many hours of wasted and non-productive time - the hallmark of any great title. There’s promise here. I’ll bet you’re wasting a lot of hours on it now, even in it’s broken state. Even as you’re complaining about it. At any rate, six months from now, if you calculate how many hours you’ve wasted on the broken piece of xxxx. You can consider that you got ur hundred bucks worth of entertainment out of it. Get a grip people. It isn’t like enduring a pandemic. Intel [email protected] GHZ. 32 GB RTX 4070 Ti OC
