Yeah that the other mod I use besides Robert Young’s and my one line change mod...

I agree it’s a great plane and true classic.

I like seeking  A36/G36’s on FlightAware that are on VFR flights and then recreate them in the sim.

There are quite a few in the Central Florida area so lots to choose from especially on the weekend,

Here's why I'm currently using the Savage Cub. This is leg 9 Central Idaho Bush. Leg 9 is I think the 2nd hardest of the 15. Down ahead after a right turn Wilson's Bar airport is going to suddenly just be there in front of you and I'll have to be steep dropping like a rock. It's already almost at -20 (-2000'/sec) vertical speed.

That VSI is a very large and long analogue hand, so much easier to read than a narrow tape on a modern gauge screen. These old displays might not be so organized, but they sure is easy to see!

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

The reason I am already this high, is because we just went over a high ridge behind us. Now we need to be way lower really fast. It's easier for me with a gauge I can see clearly.

Wilson's Bar is a real strip, these kind of jewels are all over Idaho.

Cessna 172 Analog gauge and Coronado Twin Piper Seminole.

The VL-3 for now after having spent time in each of the plane offered. The DV 20 is interesting also as it was my first plane for real training.

Asobo implementing realistic side slip and prop braking will help a lot eventually.

As mentioned above, i use the Savage Carbon for the crazy stuff like a full stop landing at the foot of the Statue of Liberty and taking off again. It has insane (but likely totally unrealistic)  performance.

Currently, Caravan EX for bush flying, "dangerous" small airstrips, mountainous regions. I'm having a good time.

That’s my preferred GA aircraft as well. I role play that I’m taking people on sight seeing trips or running supply missions or remote medi vac. This aircraft is the workhorse of the industry in those regards.

I did my primary training and my first solo in a C152, so I have a soft spot for the aircraft.
