September 5, 20205 yr I would also go with the Savage Cub for the extreme short takeoff and landing requirements. Allows to me to land almost at any spot I want. I am quite surprised for worst from the X Cub performance. I would expect it to supersede the Savage. MSFS2020, 24, Fenix A320, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, ASUS TUF RTX 5090 ,G.SKILL 64GB 6000MHz CL28
September 5, 20205 yr Currently, Caravan EX for bush flying, "dangerous" small airstrips, mountainous regions. I'm having a good time.

I found the caravan quite enjoyable as well. My only issue is that the glass cockpit causing stutters and performance issues. And it even got 3 displays so its even worse... September 5, 20205 yr For me it's the Caravan EX. It has the best forward visibility with that huge unobstructed windscreen for sightseeing, a decent cruise speed, and it can land on the smallest airstrips. Also I just like turboprops. If the view from the cockpit in the TBM wasn't so restricted I'd prefer that one, since I do like the speed, and it comes the closest to role-playing what I'd own in the real world if I was rich enough (although it would probably be a PC-12 instead). My main gripe about the Caravan -- aside from the turboprop modeling which apparently Asobo will address at some point -- is that I wish it was the steam gauge version. I don't like glass panels. Also, it would have been nice to see a floats version, but I guess we'll get one eventually as payware. FWIW, I don't see any stutters with the Caravan or other glass cockpit planes in normal level flight. I can get a few stutters in a sudden high-angle bank or other extreme maneuver. September 5, 20205 yr I'm having a lot of fun in the DA40NG. Not sure how accurate it is, but it has a lot of visibility for looking out the window. (it seems that mixture is a problem in FS2020, so the Diamond planes that really have this automated seem to work better). ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
