September 9, 20205 yr live weather is still not working like it should be... I`m since alphas... and made a lots of hours in FS... winds are broken in the sim, even if we could see some parameters on main screen it does not affect in the sim......on my local EPGD - windstock is always dead.. weather parameters are far from metars very often... some time cloud formations are changing rapidly from cavoc to clear sky when restarting at the same point....in few minutes Weather should be priotity to fix - Asobo ! brds Edited September 9, 20205 yr by janda
September 9, 20205 yr Amazing to think a major snowstorm in Denver and its not snowing at either KDEN or KAPA (The visibility is there) - I was seeing a bit of rain/snow mix earlier - but not thats gone - I love MSFS but have to admit this is ridiculous...
September 9, 20205 yr It's been an issue since day 1 of the Alpha. I would have thought it would have been a bigger priority. Maybe they're just going to let HiFi fix it.

I have had it advise accurate weather but that weather was not present in the flying environment. September 9, 20205 yr I know they said they will have a weather fix coming up in the next update. I haven’t seen any serious real weather issues, mine have loaded up fairly accurately except for the winds above the surface. Also the live weather isn’t live, I think meteoblue is 45 mins behind in their weather, even their online site seems to be off by a bit.
September 9, 20205 yr Weather is Asia and Europe is pretty accurate, not the exact metar, but still. Not so in North America... I am sure they will fix it in time..... Also, I find you need to restart the sim to have 'live weather'. Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

You willing to pony up the additional 50 dollars for HIFI level accuracy and depiction in MSFS? Let the pro's, like HiFi do the weather. It's what they do. Sim developers doing weather injection is like the old VCR TV combo. Neither worker well. Edited September 9, 20205 yr by Adrian123

September 9, 20205 yr Well I think the default sim should have at least a basic functioning live weather option. It doesn't have to be super-duper-great but as long as it works, I'd be good with it. So then yes -- I'd buy an add-on if it made better depictions, etc. -- like ActiveSky. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

September 9, 20205 yr I had accurate 40 knot winds (according to Windy at least) at FL380 above Australia a few minutes ago, but then it just died and went to 03. Edited September 9, 20205 yr by Tuskin38
