They also optimized VRAM footprint very well. Previously it was occupying nearly 10GB at 4K High preset now it's around 8GB.

Sounds like people are reporting large FPS gains at airports. Hoping I get the same!

The downloading screen needs work;
- The White bar (presuming Progress Bar) doesn't move so you have no idea how much you've downloaded
- From which there is no Estimated Download Time Remaining
- The Percentage is only for the file currently being downloaded, no Overall percentage

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Just saw this on Reddit

Added simulation of water particles (rain/clouds) density in aerodynamics => generates vibrations flying through clouds or rain

My bar moves fine, but yet, it could benefit from an overall % announciator and an estimation of time to complete (though, those things are prone to be way off no matter what).

White bar moves when downloading, but it stops on decompressing.

other 2 good points, although not critical IMO

I have updated through steam which is just the 500 or megabytes for the launcher but didn't get any downloads ingame. I did check the Content Manager and checking all boxes prompted a 5 gig download. Game crashed as it was working that out though. Launched a second time and that triggered the download. So if you're having trouble probably try to relaunch a few times or try updating the content manager packages. You should be downlaoding about 15 gigs on the launch page normally. In my case i have the premium deluxe.

My update only appears to be 676Mb, I feel cheated.

That was my update from the MS store.  When the sim started the update is 15.28GB.

So winds are working aloft for me now....on the first flight.  Its still going back to 225/3ish if i change to another location after the first flight.  I still have to restart the sim to get the winds working again.  However, I am seeing a little fps improvement in the cockpit and i'm definitely happy to be getting some bumps when flying through clouds now!
