New Canadian airports released

My sincerest apologies. I didn't realise that you were expressing the cost per airport. I assumed you were stating that the average package price was CDN$8.50. Completely my misunderstanding.

No problem. They might even make packages in the future which might bring down the total cost further. That would be nice.

Agreed. For that matter, $9 per airport doesn't seem all that unreasonable to me especially if they are of good quality.

I'm likely going to take the plunge and buy the Halifax and the Nova Scotia airports packages.

Any first impressions? Thinking of pulling the trigger on the FSim CYLW...

I've ordered CYWG. I'm wondering if it really takes 24 hours for "delivery".

I live in Canada and I don't think I will buy these... they are over priced in my opinion.  The airports already in the sim are good enough for me.

I also think the new MSFS has established a much better economy with tons of free content, and much more reasonably priced payware.  I'm sure the MSFS market is vastly bigger than any previous sim, so I suspect these payware developers can make more money charging less.

FSimstudios also plans on porting Airfield Canada's CYHZ for X-Plane to MSFS eventually (and P3D) once it's finished.

Their store page also says they're working on a CYVR for MSFS.

Won't the Orbx CYLW offering clash with the Simaddon ones, similar to what happened with their Alesund and AS Trondheim?

More choices the better IMO.

YVR looks very promising.

Who's making YVR?

I hope FlyTampa are looking at converting Toronto and Montreal.

I meant in terms of compability. Orbx has used custom Orthos for CYLW. If the Simaddon airports also have custom Othos, and the airports are in close proximity to each other, MSFS will just crash to desktop - as happened with Alesund and Aerosoft Trondheim (since both come with custom Orthos). So, does anyone know if all these airports are compatible with each other?

Don't you mean "new Canadian airports released, eh"?

I'd like to see a Gander or St. John's or even Goose Bay, at some point.

I ordered CYDF because I had a couple amazing flights in NF out of there in the first week the sim was out and have been meaning to go back.    I can't believe they have this antiquated async delivery system, though.   Whenever it arrives I'll check it out and report back.
