November 16, 20205 yr Turning it on solved most of my problems with street lights suspended 100 ft above the streets. I still see some but very few now. Didn't notice any drawbacks by having it on. November 16, 20205 yr It is still a somewhat beta feature of Win10, it's geared more towards computers that are CPU limited, plus it uses GPU compute resources. Since I have "lots" of CPU and limited GPU, for now I have it off. November 16, 20205 yr I've turned it on recently (after Win 10 update made it available). Got a few more fps, and GPU is showing higher percentage than before, CPU a little less, so it's been helpful for me. Have an i7-7700k and GFX1080ti, with 3440x1440 resolution, so CPU has welcomed the help. Edited November 16, 20205 yr by MorrisMinor
November 18, 20205 yr It's situation dependent, using it with my i7-770k and 1060, frames are worse - stuttering. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
March 29, 20215 yr I just found this setting and turned it on. It seemed to make my GPU run a little cooler. Frames/performance seem about the same or maybe slightly worse. Ill leave it on for a bit. Im GPU limited with a GTX 1070. My driver is not the latest though. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
