We've replaced our download servers, let's see, about 8 times in the past 5 years.  Now we're on cloud, so there are many servers.  We're not seeing any speed/latency issues on this end.  What speed are you getting, and where are you connecting from?

Hi Damian,

I am also getting very slow download speeds. Every time I needed to download something from hifsimtech.com I was getting around 100 KB/s download. I am connecting from Dublin, Ireland. My internet is quite good and the download speeds are up to 250 Mb/s.

Thats weird the 220 MB yesterday from lasts more then 45 mins! While the same size other files or example the new P3d Client only 2 mins.

I am in the north of the Netherlands with very good internet. more then 200 Mbit also

Mediafire is sluggish. I have 1Gbit speed and also download at 50-60k/s from them while i downloaded P3D update at 100Mb/s in under 5 minutes.

anybody know if cloud flickering with ea off is still a thing with 5.1HF and active sky?

I did a nice 1 hr flight in the NGXu using EA which I have had turned off before the latest HF.  Everything did look much better after the HF but curious about AS.  I had it running with live WX but it seemed that it only produced some puffy cumulus clouds at 16k feet.  WX was reported with 3 layers including an OVC at 250.  Are we limited to 1 layer of clouds using EA?  Also, is there supposed to be WX transitions while enroute?  I saw no changes with the clouds even though both airports were reporting different WX,  I can report on HiFI forum but just curious if anyone else was having any Live WX issues.

Eric -- did you check in AS whether it was managing EA, overriding volumemetricclouds.cfg or not? I have the override option activated and had multiple layers.

I checked within AS and the option to 'Disable EA Volumetric Control' is unchecked (false).   Unless there is another setting I am missing?  I will test a few more times in some other areas.

Just looked at my AS and I have the same setting as you. Sorry, no other suggestions 😞

Make sure you have a flight plan loaded.  We’re following an issue related to incorrect, or unexpected clear clouds interpolation when flight plan is not loaded.
