Henrik Nielsen's Global AI Ship Traffic for MSFS

This has to be the best and most essential addon for MSFS. With one proviso. There are STILL no ships on the river Parrett at Dunball, 😀

I think I will have to speak with some friends from the maritime world to see if they can organize some more frequent traffic on the River Parrett to Dunball...  Apart from the local rescue boat at Burnham-on-Sea the traffic seems also in real life to be deficient 🤪iRWkPb-River-Parett.jpg

  • Together with Knud, Kai we are progressing towards the first live marine traffic version... Today was test day for new models - in particular the two new giant DFDS ferries Luna Seaways and Aura

Among the new ships and routes can be mentioned fishing boats from Holland, Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom, Taiwan, USA and more, cruise ships, yachts, tankers, container ships, ferries... And also this German Search and Rescue boat - please have a look at their site DGzRS Die Seenotretter | Die Seenotretter

No, no. I believe the wharf is still in use. Tidal only.  Anyway, when I was young, I used to see the ships from my Grandmas bedroom window. Used to be owned by Bibby line.  Please could you include the train picking up the goods. EDIT. It's outstanding. It's so good. Thank you! Apart from the missing dingys in the channel it's real.

Release… 😄

A brilliant, late Christmas present!

One minor thing, if it's possible, I'd like to see ships ride lower in the water. Especially those that are depicted as fully laden.

Thank you and thanks to the beta team for all the work on this.

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

My experience with ships is limited to a few rides on the Seattle ferries and taking the lovely 1950s (still coal fired!) SS Badger across Lake Michigan - but I LOVE how much realism and immersion this ship package adds to MSFS.

Thank You Henrik and Team!!!! 🙂

You remind me that I have to do the Badger... But seeing pictures from the US lately I guess it is deep frozen right now so it can wait for a spring update 😄

Wau, real thanks, and really now waiting with illusion too the real time version. You have two options to choose for this addon, to have it or to have it.

I will see next time I have to do update on models - but I prefer to leave them a bit to high in the water as there are plenty of "water hills" where the water mesh surface is elevated a bit making the ships sink in eg in Hong Kong. It is especially a problem for smaller ships so maybe some of the big ones can be put lower.

This release was a major step towards the Real Time version - now Kaiii and the team from fleetmon.com can do the last part with a full ship base and also the ships adjusted so their center points are closer to the AIS position - that is important to have the ships correctly spaced in harbors. The ships included in this release are all ready for the real time version.

One of the new cruise ships included in the release - here in the Caribbean - model by Kevair/Sea Architecture

yes, that is correct - you need to remove V2 before installing V3.
