December 3, 20205 yr With respect to the CTD when selecting an ILS 05 approach, Gary has checked this out on his PC, and he does not suffer from the same problem. That is going to make isolating the source of the issue a much more difficult task. December 3, 20205 yr Ah well, mine certainly does AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive
December 3, 20205 yr Agree with many others, needs to be £10 for me to bite. I've spent hundreds on Gary's airports over the years but if you're going to charge that much for an airport, it needs to be a premium product. And even then... £18 for a smallish airport? Nup. Not for me.
December 3, 20205 yr Imo any review should include a value for money rating/ opinion. As a potential buyer this is the first question I ask myself, is it worth the money. Edit - yes it's down to the purchaser to come to their own conclusion on value, but surely a reviewer should offer an unbiased opinion as well - after actually using the product. I just think value for money is too subjective. If you live in Inverness, this add-on is great value for money. If you're doing a tour of Scotland in a light aircraft, or you like flying short domestic routes around the UK with the A320, it's reasonable value for money. If you live in Australia and are mostly interested in outback bush flying, you'd be insane to spend your money on it... unless you're very well off and fancy a bit of a change! Then there's the fact that reviews, by their very nature, are largely subjective. I like this airport, others really don't. My aim is to show people what an airport looks like, point out the good bits and the bad bits, give them my opinion and let them make up their own mind on whether the it's worth the asking price for them. I used to mention the price in all of my reviews and it was a conscious decision to stop doing that. By the end of the video, you'll have had a pretty thorough look at the airport, you'll have heard what I think of it, and you should be in a position to decide whether or not it's your cup of tea and whether or not it's worth the asking price. As I said above, the exception to this is if I think the airport is not up to scratch and the price is either really excessive or so cheap that it's probably worth putting up with its shortcomings. So yes, as a potential buyer you absolutely should ask yourself whether or not an add-on is worth the money. But you should ask yourself, not me! 😉 Edited December 4, 20205 yr by mrfilbert filbertflies.com | YouTube | Twitchi7 13700k, GeForce RTX 3080Ti, 32GB RAM

December 4, 20205 yr Thanks, nice review: informative. Price discussions usually lead nowhere and back. My policy is that I will not be buying any airport addons, which the exception of my home town and, maybe, airports that have a distinctive look to them that the defaults can't replicate. For the rest it's either stock default or freeeware on flightsim.to.
