Let me know how you like it.

It became stutterly after the major update issued a month ago. Also, night lighting turns some of the area yellow.

Needs an update from the creator.

He had done KLGA which  I really like. He has one for KIAD as well. Till I get my issue resolved with flightbeam, I can try his free ware. 🙂

Yeah the freeware KDCA night lighting is bad..But the day time, its ok. Useable. Even his freeware KIAD is reasonable... Did not try the night of KIAD freeware. I am now installing the Flightbeam KIAD.

Flightbeam gave me a refund for KIAD. Now I'll get the MSFS version and don't need the freeware KIAD. 🙂

Not surprised at all. That's how they roll!

I am so greedy, I run to get it..and then step over myself and fall flat. I did the same with FSDT. They gave a discount for previous P3D owners. I missed it, cause I grabbed the new one just at it was announced. Tsk Tsk. 🙂

FWIW I always buy direct for a couple of reasons-

First, I want my $ to go to the DEVELOPER not to someone else.

Second- updates get pushed at home first

Third- Until they fix MSFSMP I’m staying away from that swamp.

ANOTHER STELLAR, TOP TIER Scenery Developer who actually understands the dynamics of the MSFSMP (and I'm not talking about the in-sim version, preferring to buy everything direct so that all my $$ goes to the actual developer).  If these top notch guys are producing scenery at this price point, how can some of the other 2nd and 3rd level developers think they will get away with their older pricing models?

Bravo FlightBeam!

Agreed! Saw it on SimMarket this morning and went straight to the Flightbeam site to get it. (I buy a lot of stuff from SimMarket so I don't feel bad about that). By comparison, another biggish-name developer has released a couple of their African sceneries that I previous bought for P3D with no offer of a cross-grade discount (and somebody has suggested on their forum that their prices have actually been put up for MSFS!). I'll probably wait for a sale before I buy any of their stuff but I'll buy Flightbeam and FSDT the instant I see anything new. If the sales of MSFS really are the sort of numbers bandied around and if even a small percentage of users buy addons then the TPDs stand to make a healthy living, but only if they're not extracting the urinary output.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

And if you had any previous version of KIAD you'd also get an extra 30% off the already low price!   Can't beat that!

It's better when you hear it in your head. 😀

BTW, Netflix has a "Die Hard" documentary (building version) worth watching. I wish they would have done the airport version, but it still brings back memories.
