real live traffic not working

Featured Replies

Hi all

Has anyone else experienced this today that they have planes at the gates but nothing moving on the ground or in the air with live traffic selected. Everything was working fine last night however all day today Ive had this problem. Live weather is working and my internet connection is working fine.

Been concentrating on controller issues, so haven't really noticed especially as there is very little live traffic in the UK at the moment.

But whilst on the subject, can anyone tell me if there is a file/file to download which will turn all the generic live traffic liveries into actual airline liveries?  Is it the megapack?  If so, I tried that and it caused MSFS to crash (I think it may have been something to do with long file names - how can I fix that?).

Thanks, Ian

Yeah I noticed it too. Yesterday the sky was filled but today nada. Must be a server-side issue and hope they get it fixed soon.

Nothing here either...

Thanks all for the replies I was worried I did something at my end to cause it but I guess its a network thing

At gates only today. Yesterday plenty in the air and gates.

I think it might depend on server load. I've noticed in the early morning, and late night I've seen more planes, when less people are flying.

No Real Traffic here either.  At first I thought all flights had been grounded like on...well you know when.  Checked the news and nope.

Does Live Traffic only work when you use Live Time? Meaning that you can't change the time or else you won't see any live traffic.

It has never worked that way before.

Live traffic works at any time.

I was wondering the same thing. Live traffic was working well for me but for the last week or so I've been changing the time and haven't seen much in the way of real traffic.

Strange, I also haven't noticed any live traffic lately either.

It was a ghost town for my two flights today.  Ironically live weather actually seemed to be working well.
