December 14, 20205 yr Wow, it looks much better than the first freeware Kaitak release! i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
December 14, 20205 yr Only airport in the world I have landed at where EVERYONE stops talking on approach. What an experience. CJ

December 15, 20205 yr I just used this along with Samscene Hong Kong scenery. I am going to check this Kai Tak and then buy Samscene HK Not sure if these two would merge well. This freeware is pretty good. It has the checkboard and the rabbit approach lights and the soccer stadium as well. But not sure the scope and size of this addon to make sure how it sits with Samscene Hongkong city scene. December 15, 20205 yr My opinion is this new airport scenery is far better than "decent". I would rate it as Very Good or maybe even better than that. I just made a quick flight in to check it out and was thoroughly impressed with the freeware. I have seen payware that was not much better. Regards, Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

I would say the freeware is not 100% compatible with Samscene. The approach light would overlay with some existing buildings. The ferry terminal needs to be removed first. Other than these it looks nice. December 15, 20205 yr If you can remember 9Dragons and the follow on from FS9 and FSX you have "chasing the rabbit" which really makes it worthwhile for night flights! If you have the files it would enable one to understand how it was built for those simulators. December 15, 20205 yr Took the "c" version of the A32NX for a spin from Kai Tak, best for hand flying of course, and reminds me of my 1965/66 days in and out of there. The rabbit is there and running as usual! Pity about the traffic across the the runway though. Will try "Salty's" 747 as I need something heavy. The freeware Kaitak and the Samscene of HK? And you still see the rabbit approach lights? Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
December 15, 20205 yr @Manny Do not have the Samscene of HK. As it is HK is OK and time will tell if other actors join MSFS with their scenery. December 15, 20205 yr Has anybody figured out how to set the priority/order of sceneries? If we can configure the priority/order of sceneries, then it may be possible to get this Kai Tak add on working with the Sam Scenery 3D add on. What if I have two airports (the same airport) in community folder which one is prioritized? Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
