1. Anywhere in the green bar should be good. I tend to go lower in the green bar (more ANU) if heavy or CG is to the front

2. The FMC connects directly to simbrief, you don't need to download anything. It loads whatever flightplan is your current active OFP on simbrief. So when you generate OFP, then that one is the one the FMC will pull. Then for your next flight generate another OFP and then the FMC will pull that one. You can always verify your active simbrief profile my going to "MY BRIEFING" in Simbrief

Thank you, CW.  Happy new year!

I downloaded the v.8.3 mod and correctly positioned in into the community folder.
Everything seemed to work fine.
As I understand it, if you have the mod loaded you will see "Mod Status" vs just "Status" at the top of the FMS Status page.
I did see "mod status" yesterday.

Today, loaded the sim and the CJ4 and no "Mod Status" in the status page
Deleted/ reinstalled/redownloaded etc , verified in the community folder, everything running as admin.

Can't think of anything else. Any help?

How do you confirm you really have the mod loaded?

Thanks

I am using .8.3 right now and the CJ4 is hard to land, ground effect seems to be too much or it's the drag which is too low, I had the same problem on the stable A32NX. With the custom FBW version, it's way way better.

Is this some MSFS limitation or is that something you can improve on future version?

Are you using the Vapp as calculated by the FMS?

Any advice on this one please......I have the latest WT 0.8.3 mod aswell and evertything works great accept holding its altitude, it just keeps oscillating up and down, whatever config I use it either goes above or below the altitude I set....also when banking it will lose altitude, very frustrating...bopping up and down ??

Yes, and I tried to land a bit slower, but the same result.

The status page is still named the same, just STATUS. You can see what version of the mod you have by going to IDX -> ABOUT.

The MSFS ground effect is really high (although better since the VR update). Flare just enough to lower your descent rate. An upcoming flight model change will help with that as well.

Since 0.8.3 we haven't had any reports of AP oscillation or porpoising. Is it just altitude changes coming as a result of abrupt pressure/wind changes? We've noticed that the VR update has caused an issue with the sim pressure: changes in baro pressure are no longer smooth and sometimes they are quite frequent for some reason.

Great to hear 😉

Finally felt comfortable flying the CJ4 in Vatsim...Orlando to Pittsburgh. Fantastic work especially with the FMC, was able to link up with SimBrief, make some changes along the way, no crashes - just a great product. Still learning VNAV, but that’s on me

My uncle taught me "how to fly" on MSFS95, got MSFS98 for a birthday, and I have been hooked ever since

Quick question, when I disengage autopilot I have a red "AP" on the PFD.

It seems news, or a least I didn't remember it on the previous version of the mod, how am I suppose to get rid of this indication ? Is there a specific way to disengage autopilot to avoid this warning message ?

Thanks for any tips.
