Seems like, mate, you conveniently left out an important adjunct to the definition of bigotry.

Your hostility towards the expression of the man's faith is palpable and it is a poor reflection of your lack of self-awareness of that fact.

Either way the onus is on you to show some tolerance and stop the "antagonistic" nature towards the man's beliefs.

I didn't leave anything out, I included the relevant definition for the point I was making. And it's not hostility, it is criticism of a very partisan practice which has no relevance to the product. And no, there is no compunction for me to tolerate other people's beliefs, because this wouldn't even come into it if they were kept out of where they had no place, by not attempting to shove them down my throat in a PDF manual for a product in the first place. Do you not understand what proselytising is? Where's his tolerance on that score?

You accuse the man of intolerance? What a  preposterous assertion. His expression of faith set off an intolerant rant BY YOU. lol. As I stated, self-awareness does not appear to be your strong suit.

So you don't know what proselytising is then. Or criticism is either it would appear. Okay.

You bought the product knowing full well that was an aspect of all his products and yet you still did so not as a point of principle but to accuse the man of proselytising! If you go into a church because your only purpose was to admire a period architecture by analogy what do you expect? Well I just came to see the architecture you say and dog gone it what a proselytising bunch? Please this has taken a comedic turn as you engage in a now revisionist notion of proselytising. Good luck with that.

Everyone who has bought his products know's this and since we are discussing the OP's reaction it is his reaction which is relevant.

Yeah right. Nobody knows the content of a manual before they buy it or read it. But I've bought plenty of Lionheart products over the years and am well aware that this stuff appears in the product manuals, but this does not mean I approve of it or welcome it, or that I should expect it, because it is neither the time nor place to include such things. But this does not mean I don't like the products or won't buy them, which is why I remain a supporter of those products, which is what matters.

So please spare me your notions of why I bought the product. You know nothing about me and the idea that I bought it just to have a pop at it is preposterous. If I wanted to criticise this aspect of the manuals, I would not need to spend 25 quid to do so. I pointed out that the guy is free to believe in whatever fictional deity he likes, but I don't want to hear about it in a product where this has no relevance. That's it.

If you think this means I'm on some kind of antichrist crusade, you too are free to believe your own preposterous notions in this regard, but this has no bearing on the point I made, which was that it has nothing to do with the product and so has no place in the manual for it, so was worthy of criticism and comment, and this I did, particularly because at the time, nobody on this thread had bought the product.

You are the one who launched into me calling me a bigot, so I think you perhaps ought to look up tolerance in that dictionary as well whilst you are at it. I criticised the content of a manual, not the person. If if you care to check these forums going way back, you will find that I've been a strong advocate of the Lionheart Viking for years.

Anyway, back with the product, the interim patch does sort out the electrical issues.

I am cool, I am merely responding to someone suggesting I'm a bigot and pointing out that they are incorrect.

Therefore it is only your time or your place to determine the content of the very product sold by the developer, right? We must be thankful that you are able to delineate what are the boundaries of the man's faith and when he can articulate them.

I know enough about you by your diatribe and bigotry (given that I can discern a truncated definition when I see one). No you didn't leave it at that. you then sounded off on the motive of the man and other such niceties.

It has every bearing on the point. The vitriol of your reaction just has made my point. And since you have been 'forewarned' by its inclusion numerous times and only seems to serve a repetitive hostility? Tell me, the first time you bought one of his products did you sound off then? Or has the accumulation of his planes just brought you recently to this pathology?

You deserved the appellation since your palpable hostility towards the content of his manual was evident for all to see.

this is getting old...

You've clearly decided to take a dislike to me given the amount of personal vitriol you are firing at me here Lenny, in spite of the fact that I've repeatedly pointed out that all I did was state that something which was not relevant to a manual, was put in a manual. But you can feel free to hurl abuse at me if you like, it is after all the Christian thing to do, - oh wait a minute, no it isn't - so I will wish you well and simply advise you to be careful lest your halo slips. 🤣

Since he's the developer he can put in the manual what he wants and you are free not to buy the product so to give him (ironically enough from your perspective) the continued platform to "proselytize" no? So if you don't buy he doesn't have the platform at least from your narrow and limited effect you will have served your noble cause. Now that is funny!

Lenny & Chock, a tube of Prep-H is on its way to each of you.

I do wish you would pause from vitriolically swinging your handbags at each other & turn your attention to my P.9 query:

"Can the TB21 Autopilot work for Altitude & Heading Hold inputs made via Keyboard mappings? "

Thank you😀

Yes it can, I just tested it for you to confirm this. Although I can tell you that the Logitech/Saitek Hardware autopilot does not work on this aeroplane, and it is pretty unique in that, since even ported over FSX and P3D aeroplanes work with that hardware. On the plus side, those keyboard shortcuts work well if you don't want to use mouse clicks.

I personally hang my handbag on the prop lever handle, so I can't swing it. It does mean I have to take off with the wrong prop pitch, so I need a 20,000 foot long runway which limits me to operating out of Groom Lake, but it's just such a convenient place to put it. 🤣
