(And Chock with great respect, I'd suggest that the best thing to do if your sense of reason is offended by the proselytizing of the author is to not reward it by buying any more of it.   There are more fish in the sea, and more planes in the sky.)

I'm not really offended by it, I just think it's not the right place to put it more as a general observation, and that's regardless of what I personally believe or don't, in the same way that I'd think a page on how to make a nice souffle would be out of place in the manual as well.

Thank you for checking the AP out.

I prefer to hang 1 strap across the Prop & Mixture pull out knobs & leave the handbag unzipped & flopped open so that I can get at a packet of crisps & a can of soda at 12,000', without having to reach behind, & thereby put my back out.

Years ago, I actually taught some people at a really posh handbag company based in London how to use Adobe Illustrator for their product design illustrations. So although that doesn't make me an expert on handbags, I do know a bit more about handbags that I'd normally care to admit.

Fortunately for me, my partner is more into bargains than posh labels, because those things were seriously expensive, even though those product illustrations were usually sent off to China where their flashy products were probably knocked up for a few quid in some sweatshop before ending up in some Soho boutique for the kind of money I'd think twice about spending on buying a car. 🤣

I never could get the hang of making souffle. They seem prone to crash and burn so to speak.

100% with you.

the Logitech/Saitek Hardware autopilot does not work on this aeroplane

The Saitek autopilot (older version - firmware 320 according to Lorby...) seems to work for me, so far on two flights anyway.  I use Lorby Axis and Ohs to drive it in case that makes any difference.

So, where are we with the TB21?

What still needs refining?

Anyone in touch with the Developer know of any updates in the pipe line, & what they might entail?

Bill is constantly working on it and hasnt started any new project yet. he is devoted to the TB for now.

I reported to him the issues I described above and he got back to me saying that they are investigating.

I have good hopes 👍

I think for VFR it is good to go even now.

I'd say it was good to go, and worth having if you are interested in the real thing. It provides a very decent VFR tourer which is a little different from typical GA aeroplanes looks-wise, and it is well capable of IMC flights unless there is a big threat of icing, and even then it might be able to climb above the worst of it in a lot of situations since it can get up to 25,000 feet if not heavily loaded, since it is modelled with an oxygen fit.

If you aren't too enamoured with the real aeroplane specifically, but want something similar in capability right this minute, then the Carenado Mooney is a good payware alternative for around a broadly similar price, or some of the modded default aeroplanes such as the Bonanza could also fit the bill. If you want something similar to this aeroplane specifically, keep in mind that the default Robin DR400 does scratch that French itch styling-wise albeit in the shape of something with less fancy avionics and speed, so perhaps more akin to the fixed-gear TB10 than the 20/21.

It flies well and is pretty much on the numbers in relation to the real aeroplane and for the most part the avionics and instruments are fine so long as you don't want a super-duper capable GPS/NAV fit. Externally the textures could maybe go up a bit in fidelity but they're okay at even fairly close up viewing distances so this is not a very big deal.

So it comes down to if you actually want a Trinidad. If you do then it's all good, but if you are looking for a GA payware aeroplane to scratch that non-default itch which pushes sim capabilities a bit more than most, the upcoming Just Flight offering might be worth hanging on for, assuming it flies as well as it looks in the preview pics.

Personally, I hope Lionheart's Bellanca Viking makes the jump to MSFS as well, and I would think this is likely since modeling-wise, it did recently come out in an updated P3D version which is certainly very good visually to the point where it would not do MSFS a disservice even if merely ported over.

I think what we're witnessing, is the developer getting to grips with the new sim and attacking the learning curve for that with some enthusiasm, so this bodes well for patches to this thing as well as to others from the back catalogue. It's worth bearing in mind too that the developer has responded quickly to customer comments and shown that the price you pay gets you the kind of service you'd hope for, so this is a credit to him, particularly given the fact that it would be easy to get nervous about what the forthcoming flight model patch may mean in terms of requiring some tweaking. And I would think given the aforementioned comment on the fact that responses and patches have been fast, this is something worth bearing in mind too and may well prove a plus point in favour of Lionheart as opposed to Carenado, who as we know, are not exactly known for long-term care where its products are concerned.

Well I hope Lionheart manage to fix it up - God willing!

It's like you read my diary. I can't find any info on Just Flight's in development products, do you have a link? Not to the store, that I have.
