Out of interest, when did you pre-order? Chris is understandably wary of being too precise as to when pre-orders will convert into opportunities to pay and receive so it would be interesting to see how we compare in the queue. I placed my pre-order just before. the last week of October 2020.

Slightly before that, probably early October or very late September, I would need to check to get the precise week.

In that case, the sooner you get your payment email, the better!😁

Where are you guys buying your Honeycomb Bravo throttle quads?   I can't find them anywhere except Amazon, and I'd rather not pay $450.

I put an order in last week with Gulf Coast Avionics. They are expecting stock on the 15th and they are one of the few that are taking pre-orders (that I could find anyway).. They did charge my CC so I hope they actually do get stock sometime in the very near future. Free shipping also. I've never bought from them before but they do have a very good and long history in the Aviation field so I for that reason I was comfortable ordering from them.

I won't pay scalper fees either.

An order last week for delivery on the 15th . wow !!  I've had an order in with amazon since the end of October and no idea if/when it might be delivered. How do these things get allotted ??

Same here, 25th. Dreading the email saying they've cancelled the order as "The supplier says it's no longer available", which they've done to me before. Amazon UK will get their stock from Aerosoft, who order direct from the Hong Kong factory rather than via Honeycomb, so I assume it's down to a combination of how many Amazon order and how Aerosoft split the stock they receive between 3rd party customers and their own customers. I am also keeping an eye on other retailers who unfortunately don't take pre-orders.

My Honeycomb Bravo tq came in today!   That's not bad, it only took about 10 days from Gulf Coast Avionics.

They don't expect to have anymore in stock until June according to their website.

Received my Honeycomb Bravo Thottle yesterday. A site her in Sweden have them in stock (100+ items). https://www.komplett.se/product/1146981/gaming/spelutrustning/spelkontroller/ratt-och-pedaler/honeycomb-bravo-throttle-quadrant# But the dowside is that it was eye watering pricey. 3.299 swedish crona is aprox. 368 US dollar. The main concern i had was if it's gonna work propperly on my new computer. I'have yet to get my Thrustmaster Warthog stick to work (get CDT as soon as i plugg it in) but all other peripherals including The Trhustmaster Warthog Throttle works. But to my but to my great relief the Honeycomb Throttle seams to work fine 😄.

A small spelling error that bothered me

Come here you big, beautiful cup of coffee and lie to me about how much we’re going to get done today.

They are crazy popular and then you have Covid on top of that.

I suspect the popularity is because they are one of the few products that sits in the middle between the toys and the stupidly expensive stuff like Brunner and Yoko.

The Fulcrum Yoke is another one in that niche (slightly more professional with swappable yoke handles and also maybe 20% dearer than Honeycomb) but Fulcrum are also in short supply and pre-order and you will wait a few months for them as well  😄

Well, I'm one of the really stupid ones as I have the Virtual Fly Yoko+, TQ6, and MFG Crosswind pedals.  I could never go back and describing the feel is like trying to describe what VR is like.  My penny pinching buddy came over to try the set-up and he owns the exact same thing now lol.

Sort of depends on your avaialble budget, some people have to save up just for a CH or thrustmaster basic yoke, However compared to most real world hobbies (even golf), or for that matter flying real time, sim gear is not really that expensive.

I have a Fulcrum on preorder, but probably would have thought about a Brunner if the sim supported FFB properly, currently make do with a 20 year old FFB2 which I intend to keep using for bush planes etc.

I hate you both!😝

Mind you, converting the Krona price to Sterling works out at £283, and then there's the post-Brexit customs charge to take into account🙄. So, once you can work out what customs charge it will incur from the thousands of options, it could end up costing around £420 for a £240 item. No thank you.

I received an email earlier today that mine is on a UPS truck for delivery tomorrow. Likely you're closer to Florida than am I in So. Cal. But very excited to get it into the sim.

Yes I'm a lot closer to Florida than you are.

Not a problem in my neighborhood but watch for porch thieves/package bandits, UPS just left the Honeycomb box sitting on my porch.

Yeah, not a problem in my neighborhood either (although no place is exempt from thievery) but I will very likely be waiting and watching at the front door for the brown truck well before his arrival. I've also recently been receiving very precise delivery updates with maps showing the whereabouts of the truck. Pretty cool as you can actually track the delivery in real time on your web browser.
