I only download honecomb hack for LED light. I was able to set up all axises and switches. I used this channel as reference for settings thing, but setup everything my way. They are crazy popular and then you have Covid on top of that. I suspect the popularity is because they are one of the few products that sits in the middle between the toys and the stupidly expensive stuff like Brunner and Yoko. The Fulcrum Yoke is another one in that niche (slightly more professional with swappable yoke handles and also maybe 20% dearer than Honeycomb) but Fulcrum are also in short supply and pre-order and you will wait a few months for them as well 😄 Edited February 9, 20215 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick

I meant to sell Honeycomb yoke but somehow it slipped away LOL How does the Yoko compare to the Honeycomb? I've been looking at the different yoke systems with an eye to buying. I came also came across this one. It has a GA-style throttle, which I like. There don't seem to be many throttles like that, either stand-alone or integrated into a yoke.

First, the guy was looking for manufacturers, then found it but they couldn't deliver the quantity. Poor supply chain, imo. Does anyone know how they're managing their order collections? The button is sold out and not active for pre-orders. I wish they at least could have a note on there that the next round of pre-orders will start on X date. Jacek G. Also, if you are happy to preorder and wait a month or two, the Fulcrum is shipping but demand currently outstrips supply: https://www.avsim.com/forums/forum/882-fulcrum-simulator-controls/ https://fulcrumsim.com/ The Fulcrum is all metal with 8" travel and aircraft quality switch gear on the handles (which eventually will be swappable for different aircraft handle types) but is also about 20% dearer than a Honeycomb depending on where you live (but way cheaper than a Yoko) and lacks the switch gear on the base if you are attracted by that. Note that both Honeycomb and Fulcrum are good yokes at more or less similar price point, they just target different markets. Edited February 9, 20215 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick

I'm definitely not in a hurry, with a PC upgrade and VR headset on the list above a yoke! I also came across this video which suggests there might be yet further developments from Honeycomb. The one thing that appealed to me about the Altura was the Cessna-style throttle. Maybe by the time I'm ready to purchase, something like that will be available standalone or integrated into a throttle.
