I noticed yesterday there's a new installer available, and i seemed to notice a further improvement in the flight model, and sounds with the latest Dev version . climb rate seemed far more realistic compared to the rocketing climb rate with the default aircraft.Cockpit looks improved yet again, screens look fantastic.

Thanks to all invlolved.

Indeed. It is a daily pleasure to discover all the improvements on the A320n. It is the work of this team that keeps me from reinstalling P3D.

And the biggest news, the custom autopilot will hit the installers in next days 😄. ( I am already using the custom autopilot and trust me, once you try it, it will be super hard to go back to that Asobo's dumpster autopilot LOL)

Here are the news from their Q&A stream over the weekend: https://fsnews.eu/flybywire-simulations-livestream-summary-20-3/

Their progress is really stunning...

question is, when will the new autopilot (vnav) be part of the stable mode? (custom always crashes my sim and I would never even think of using the dev)

First it will be the custom autopilot without the VNAV. VNAV will come later

Well, now don’t say it's just the dev version after I propagated it ;-). But does anybody else have issues with the simbrief import? Loaded a plan using ATSU + fuel and pax for ESGG to ENVA. All fine. Went to FMGC and INIT but there is no loading the actual flight plan with the waypoints, just DEP and ARR airport showing. Everything else works like manually adding ZFW, Cost index, CRZ level etc., so I am now direct to ENVA but I miss my waypoints. Any idea?

BTW, on the flyPad I also loaded the plan and it shows.

BTW2, what does the flyPad button „Link MCDU“ mean/do? When I click it nothing happens, that is not new however, was always wondering and didn’t dare to ask not having read any documentation

No problem at all loading the Simbrief flight plan as described by you and using the latest dev mod.

Kind regards,

Which of the 3 options/versions is best to install at this point?

Is the dev or custom stable enough?

I use experimental, mostly. But you can change anytime, so just try.

I think you just answered your own question here...

Just waited for that comment 😉. But as Hans said it seems I did something wrong. Again, dev mod rulez and is often updated, sometimes few times a day. Just try it. The installer makes it easy to change versions and role back to the stable release
