Sure he needs a license from Boeing to produce that addon. Is it easy to get it? And how much does it cost? Anyone knows?

Let's put it this way... After getting my "experience" with this 777 garbage, I uninstalled the "pretty good" Captain Sim products from my P3D installation. I just can't do it now. Can't load those decent 737, 757, and 767 into P3D without being reminded what is behind that stuff. Just a bad taste in my mouth, completely ruined any CS products for me. So, my P3D Boeings are strictly PMDG now - 737, 747, 777... that's the way it stays.

I had to remove the aircraft because the configuration program kept turning off my antivirus, even after I excluded it from real-time scanner.

Totally agree - its time EVERYBODY closed the door on CS. I think the "young gamers" are still buying CS products for the eye-candy while the "serious simmers" have dropped CS a long time ago.

Yup, it's the Tishma/Ariane model--market to the people that haven't heard about you yet.

This is exactly what I was referring to earlier about new folks who had no clue what CS was trying to pull....so many examples on their site...so many new MSFS simmers paying $30 to find out, after the fact, that they just got a shell because they could not correctly interrupt that one line that was the only indication they were getting a shell only. (or breezed thru the sales hype like most folks do...never expecting to have to read the fine print...they see and "airplane"...they expect an "airplane").

Had CS released it for $5 or $10 bucks...then folks could correctly assume there was no way they were getting and entire 777 for that price and would inquire further...and hopefully have a better understanding of what they are buying.  Had CS approached it this way, I'd be completely fine with it...for $10, I'd maybe woulda' grabbed the model for screenshots.
But they purposely charged full airplane price in the MSFS market (as it stands thus far) and people took the bait... hook, line and sinker.

The sad part here is that he even fooled this simmer who claims to have bought other CS products...which goes to that other comment about PT Barnum I mentioned. 😞

I never had bad experience with CS before. I've bough all these 727 and their 707 and their C-130

I had no issue with those.

And Broeked 737 is at least flyable for 23$ that is the least you can expect.. Its no PMDG

The CS 777 I cannot do IFR.

Apparently, whoever is running CS now is not the same group who developed their classic fleet in years gone by. At least one of the original founders has passed away, and another has either retired or moved on to other things.

In their forum, If anyone brings up any problems with the autopilot or systems they just revert to things like "Do not discuss these problems as we will not touch the Asobo code, you get what you get" While modders have made changes to try and improve the default 747 and their 777 to work with those mods. (The screenshot above had me rolling "confused yet") Why cant CS tweak things here and there? Must be nice for them to take the easy way out.
