Saw this over at the MSFS forums.  Looks really nice from the screenshots.  Hopefully the price will be within reason and the quality is there.

My gosh...the first pic with rain on the ramps looks real.

The entire airport looks incredible.  My PC may blow up though since ORD area is already heavy.

What's the current state of the addon airports? Are the problems with ground services, frequencies and procedures  finally fixed by now?
Last year there were a lot of cases where addon airports were nonfunctional in some ways, with various problems relating to the stock MSFS systems for ground service, ATC, procedures and frequencies.

I know, it's pretty crazy somethings you have look again to make sure it's a screen shot form the sim.  🙂  I'm in the same boat as you.  KORD tends to wreak havoc on my FPS at times.

Well I fly mainly GA so don't deal with ground services.  Also, I use Pilot2ATC.  Only issues I've noticed with addon airports has been a weird forest that popped up @ KDEN and a random issue with the bridge over the interstate @ KORD.  But then again, I have had my share of similar issues with the default airports, so not blaming addon developers for those.

I've been very happy with all the 3rd party airports I've purchased so far.  I'm hesitant with developers I've never heard of so have been sticking to recommendations from other simmers.  This one though (even though it's a new developer) does peak my interest for sure.

Screw the rain.  It has a taphouse.....  $100 hamburger destination!

This will be an early purchase for me too and looking forward to the frequent Teterboro to Chicago Executive flight in the TBM.

I have to say there has been a real shift in scenery development. Back in my P3D days you would get a few high quality airports each year -- often the same big hubs (even multiple of them) -- and now we are seeing so much quality content emerge, from new developers. It really does seem to be a different era.

I'll admit that I do badger him about getting over here to do some more flying.  He's got this thing about flying in Europe all the time though.  Not sure why.  Hehehe...

Sweet, I used to fly from Schaumburg Regional to Palwaukee during lunch sometimes back when I worked in Schaumburg. Once JustFlight releases the Warrior it will be just like old days.

I love flying in the states too... you just don't have as many amazing airport sceneries just yet, your A320 route network is lacking, and your Vatsim controllers refuse to get up and provide ATC at 6am 😉

I've never had any issues.

You still have to manually tune ILS frequencies at many add-on airports, but I haven't found any with incorrect or missing frequencies. Most, but not all, have working ground services.
