I had a lot of fun with the Xtreme Prototypes Lear 25 in p3d. If they bring that over to MSFS I'll grab it again. It's not 100% authentic - it has auto throttles for some weird reason. But overall it's great fun to fly, and with the 8 track blaring bad disco and the 70's cabin designs, about all you'd need to be fully immersed is a mirror with white powder and a razorblade on one of the cabin tables. 😉

It's probably got Auto Throttles because they aren't up to programming speed hold by pitch properly!

I’m waiting on the Flysimware Lear 35 to get the port over. With the widgeon out in beta now, hopefully this will be on their plate soon.

Hope so, wondering if their FMS was built ready for 2020...?

Hopefully. It’s been in development a long time. Hopefully they made the code portable from P3D to the normal conventions in msfs.

I'd personally like a small Phenom or a Falcon 900x  but they may be some time coming 🙂

I'm sure Carenado are going to port over their Phenom 100 and 300 into MSFS at some point. Obviously, it'll be a great visual model coupled to default avionics. I extensivley used their Phenom 100 and 300 in P3D. Pretty basic but still fun to fly.

Regarding the Embraer Phenom 100EV, from Embraer's website:

"Down to its very last detail, the Phenom 100EV has been meticulously engineered to deliver advanced technology and unparalleled ergonomics. Boasting intelligent automation and a human factors-driven design, the aircraft offers easy, single-pilot operation plus enhanced capabilities. Its state-of-the-art, touch-controlled flight deck is designed to anticipate every need, minimize workload and increase situational awareness. The Synthetic Vision System sees what the eyes can’t. Graphical flight planning, SurfaceWatch™, vertical navigation, windshear alerting and weather radar with vertical scan, ground clutter suppression and turbulence detection provide even more situational awareness. And the design of the aircraft’s synoptic screens and Prodigy Touch avionics - based on Garmin 3000 - create an instinctive interface between pilot and aircraft."

So, I'm, hoping that Carenado's default can be "retrofitted" with WT's G3000.

Just trying to figure out if there is anything out there that has this nailed down yet.  I know VNAV wont happen until next year.

I'm afraid I'm a bit lost here. The WT CJ4 follows almost all leg types, doesn't get turned around, and also has VNAV, all for a long time.

Are you thinking of a different plane maybe?

I'd love to see that too. But Carenado is only selling thru the MS Marketplace which means their planes are encrypted which means retrofitting anything into the panel will be impossible. Or impossible "today." Those WT guys are pretty crafty and can now work from inside MSFS, so here's hoping.

@MattNischan  Hi -  How long do you think it will be before the default CJ4 includes the WT mods by default?  Or would it be like the FBW free addon/update for the A320?

and also: Does WT have plans to fix/improve, for example, the GNS 530 in the Premium Deluxe C172?  It can't even tell me the elevation of an airport and it can't decide whether to report dimensions in meters or feet.  Im not a pilot but I certainly wouldn't try to learn from the default avionics and Id like to feel that I could.

To be fair, if they have any sense they'd be talking to WT now about the best way to make use of their PL21 to save them the trouble of writing inferior avionics.....

I don't really have a good feel for the timeframe of that; there's actually a lot of work to be done there since we did the mods on top of the compiled code and not the source, so we basically have to un-reverse-engineer our own stuff back on to the source. It's a big project.

That being said, the intention is absolutely to get all of it into the sim at some point, and this would include the PL21 from the CJ4.

There's a great 430/530 mod out there. However, we definitely want to improve all of the default avionics, and bring the new flight planning and nav to every avionics stack.

That is beyond awesome!  Really glad you guys are working on this stuff.  Thank you for your efforts.

By the way, the Citation Longitude that is available with the premium edition of MSFS is now really fun to fly with the Flight Dynamics Modification Project mod as well as the Working Title G3000/5000 mod:
https://flightsim.to/file/3655/asobo-cessna-citation-longitude-flight-dynamics-modifications-project-version-1-0

All I've flown lately is the default Longitude and I really enjoy it, except for one thing:  taxi and landing lights are way too dim to be useful. Is this part of the modifications referred to above?

Thanks

Noel
