No biz jet topic is complete without discussing Eaglesoft. Go to their FB page or official webpage and look at the shots of the Citation X and C605. I mean...whoa!

But...I think they’ve most recently said MSFS is a question mark for now and that they’re working on bringing their aircraft to P3D first. Huh?? With the super talented graphics artist (Ozzy Hatterman) they used for the gen4 Citation X and C605, their traditionally amazing avionics and their attention to detail these guys could make a killing in MSFS. Why they haven’t sped up development to warp speed and devoted all resources to MSFS is beyond me. Waiting for a more complete SDK? Waiting for a more stable sim? Both? Bueller?

C’mon guys! Let’s get back to the glory days of your original Citation X when that was the end-all-be-all of GA. When people looked to Eaglesoft for stable, high quality, virtually bug-free releases with complete, detailed manuals and accurate flight dynamics. When quality 1-1 support was commonplace.

I’ve said it before - I’m a day 1 buyer of the X. Maybe the first person in line. Can’t wait for Eaglesoft in MSFS.

Agree...the C750 was the top Bizjet for quite some time....  Would love one of those.

I own pretty much all of the payware bizjets for FSX except any Eaglesoft products as I feel they were overpriced for the visual quality.

I would love to have a C750 and C605 but at this point..it would have to be for MSFS.

Eaglesoft is dead.

Certainly seen nothing from them since the p3d3 XLS+ which was in desperate need of a patch...

.... WT PL21 seems more complete and stable. Hoping other developers use their work so we get decent avionics.

Their last release was, I believe, for the 32 Bit version of P3D. I mean, seriously?

Yes, tried it and couldn't complete a flight without a CTD...

... AFAIK not patched since.

The CJ4 is a Citation: The Cessna CitationJet 4. Give our mod a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have a simple question Matt,

Lateral navigation via the 'fms' and autopilot - non-sensical turns and/or turns to a prior waypoint while doing an approach

We no this is an Asobo issue

Questions:

  • has this been (being) addressed by WT?
  • has this been (being) addressed by FBW?
  • has this been (being) addressed by ASOBO?

Just trying to figure out if there is anything out there that has this nailed down yet.  I know VNAV wont happen until next year.

The WT CJ4 does LNAV and VNAV fairly well.

If Carenado makes a Citation XLS for MSFS (not the XL) I buy it. But today people don't fly classic jets anymore (every plane must be study/book/blind and deaf pilot level certified while having EFB, touchscreens, voice recon, HUD display with a cost of 2cents) so I will keep dreaming🙄...

The WT G3000 mod still has the u-turn-after-activating-an-approach bug sometimes (depending on where along the waypoints you currently are) but it's much easier to work around that now by going to HDG before activating the approach and then activating the direct-to function which can be accessed directly from the procedure page.

The problem with Eaglesoft is that they've been saying they're working on various very good looking and promising-sounding jets for P3d for *years* now with no evidence that an actual product will be offered.

I had a lot of fun with the Xtreme Prototypes Lear 25 in p3d. If they bring that over to MSFS I'll grab it again. It's not 100% authentic - it has auto throttles for some weird reason. But overall it's great fun to fly, and with the 8 track blaring bad disco and the 70's cabin designs, about all you'd need to be fully immersed is a mirror with white powder and a razorblade on one of the cabin tables. 😉
