Best regards

so, $35m later, how would you compare the HUD to other ATC addons (most if not all have "free" demos)

there are a few that are very similar & have been "used" for over a decade

for now, cheers

FSHud does not recognize the codes of airlines and the number of flight - it uses the registration of the aircraft, for example, instead of calling PLLLOT it uses SP-LWD clear to take off, which is the registration of B738 - this applies to the user's aircraft
I don't know how to set this up.

Submit a quick ticket in the app. They should respond quickly. My understanding is that the callsigns in some traffic bgl files may not be in the correct format, and some airlines may need phonetic spelling.

For example, I get Delta and 328 read back to me as in this picture...

callsigns in some traffic bgl

callsigns are not in the BGL, only the flightnumber and the airplane registration. The callsign is based on the fltsim-entry atc_airline and can be read/write via SimConnect as well as thge flightnumber.

You mentioned somewhere that it is possible to revert back from aigfpn to bgl format. Could you please guide me to a link where this is described? I want to be very careful because I have all(!) AIG flightplans for both MSFS and P3D properly installed and don't want to mess it up.

1) Make a BACKUP!!!!!

2) Remove all AIGFP files in <OCI>\Traffic Files\AIGFP

3) Start AIM, disable AIGP

4) Install all airlines again

5) DO NOT run verify until you have all airlines reinstalled!

Thanks, that will be a weekend challenge because of (4). I was hoping it would be easier.

Oh yes... I mean that also. What I meant by callsigns is that some airlines have to be phonetically created. So the combination of BGL and aircraft.cfg (like we used in Ultimate Traffic) has to have everything align. And where an airline cannot be pronounced, a ticket can be submitted and it can be added.

Thanks,

We posted this short essay describing FSHud traffic. I think this will shed some light on a lot of details regarding traffic.

That sounds very promising. I didn't dare to dream about a new ATC add-on for P3D that is going to control ai traffic in such a way you intend to do. Currently I'm replacing all my AIGFPN files with AIG BGL traffic files. That will take a while, but I hope tomorrow I will install FSHud to see how it will work all together.

Noticing high CPU load in my play around today. Stuttery performance around the LAX area although as soon as I stop FSHUD in Task Manager and turn traffic back on it's back to normal

Hello,
As it was mentioned in previous reply - following issue would be fixed in next version.
Please also overview following post:

Thank you

Does FShud support vectoring to landing? How is it compared to the other programs? That is usually the pain point in the others. @Ray Proudfootdid you move on from radar contact? 🙂
