Featured Replies

Just had an email from Just Flight which reveals that their Piper PA-28-161 Warrior II will be going on sale next week and also containing instructions on how to find the 25% discount for owning the MSFS Arrows (the discount will also be available for anyone whio bought teh P3D/FSX Warrior)

Just Flight PA-28-161 Warrior II for MSFS - discount offer

Dear Paul,

Just Flight's new PA-28-161 Warrior II for Microsoft Flight Simulator will be on sale next week (week commencing 19 July):

PA-28-161 Warrior II for MSFS

As you have already bought our P3D/FSX Warrior II or one of our MSFS Arrow add-ons, we are offering you a 25% discount on the usual price of the new MSFS Warrior II.

If you do wish to buy the new MSFS Warrior II at the discounted price, simply follow these instructions when it is on sale:

  1. Log in to your Just Flight Account.
  2. Click on the 'Your Orders' button.
  3. Locate the order for your previous Warrior/Arrow purchase and click on the 'Download / Activation Details' button.
  4. Copy the relevant Discount Code which has been added there.
  5. Go to the MSFS Warrior II page and click on the 'Buy Download Now' button.
  6. In the Basket, paste your discount code into the 'Have a discount code?' box and click 'Apply' - this will give you the 25% discount.

Your single-use discount code will be added to your account by the time the Warrior II goes on sale. The code will remain in your account and is not time-limited.

Have a good weekend!

Best wishes,

The Just Flight Crew

I saw the e-mail and got excited that it might come out today, but then was disappointed.  At least it is coming out soon.

If you want to get both version of the Arrow (turbo and non-turbo)  believe the cheapest way is still supposed to buy the stand-alone Arrow on the JF store which will give you a voucher to get 66% off the stand-alone Turbo arrow - it works out cheaper that way than the combo pack (the combo pack is mostly intended for the the official MSFS Marketplace where Just Flight can't do these kind of discounts)

Im gonna skip the Warrior,  the Turbo is just so much better.

The discount is great and all but do I really need three PA-28's?

Yes, of course you do 🙂

You can actually get a discount on the Standard Arrow if you have the P3D one and then apply the 66% discount and the loyalty points earned to the turbo arrow.

I bought the Arrow and Turbo Arrow two days ago, love them.

But isn't Arrow, Archer and Warrior all variants of the same aircraft (PA-28 Cherokee)?

AMD Ryzen R9 9950X3D | Asus Astral RTX 5080 OC | 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL30 | 3440x1440 G-Sync | Logitech Pro Throttles Rudder Yoke Panels | Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS | TrackIR 5 | Oculus Rift S

Dakota, Warrior, Charger, Arrow, Cadet, Archer, Pathfinder, they are all Cherokee PA28s but vastly different.  There is also the PA32 Cherokee 6.

There were also PA24 Comanche but they were a different aircraft altogether.

The Warrior is the absolute base model, fixed prop, fixed undercarriage, though the Warrior II is 160 HP and it acquired a semi tapered wing. If you ever did real life training in a Piper it was probably in a Warrior.

How much does the Warrior differ from the Archer ?

At first glance they both look to be fixed gear, fixed prop versions so is it mainly engine and equipment differences ?

I think the Warrior got the Archer body but a different wing.

They are basically all variants of the same airframe produced at different times. Think of them as equivalent to different models and years of Mustang or Cadillac.
