AI generated buildings - Visuals decreased?

I can see the difference with the buildings but how do we know thats not being affected by object LOD. What airport is that, that was posted? I'll go there myself and see how it looks in my system

Well, you want screenshots showing the issue, you get screenshots showing it and yet you are trying to argue with some far fetched ideas? Come on, you can clearly see that both screenshots were taken from exakt the same position with the same zoom level... You have to ask @Nyxx about the location, the screenshots are his...

They only left 1 LOD change out, they still included the others such as with changes to adding decimated poly models for some of the default buildings that previously only had 1 LOD, or that previously had higher res LODs. It's been confirmed now by some of the largest payware developers. People kept spamming and repeating "No LOD changes were made because it was held back". LOD changes were made, only 1 change they held back, but several changes went through. 

As and I others originally stated and tried to inform people, Asobo themselves had already confirmed this, but now it's been confirmed that Asobo confirmed it by another confirmation, and that what we said in the beginning was true. The default buildings had LOD mods / rendering changes and various detail adjustments.

Some third-party buildings might also be affected depending on the way they previously had already created the LODs, though I suspect any differences will be much harder to detect in this case. That said, the internal renderer is now handling LOD's differently pretty much across the board.

Yes I see that but I also know that object lod will do that depending on the setting low, med, high or ultra. If people actually post screen shots and where, others can compare, but I see people dont want comparisons because they might have an agenda. Tell me the airport and I'll verify myself using all the settings for object lod

Why not go argue about it with FSDT or Orbx, since they commented on it?

The Airport is EGNX  start a flight on runway 27> Dont move or do anything to your aircraft>Goto drone view hold down "R" so your drone move up only, no other movement.

What are talking about? The pic in question is from another thread which showed a shot of the same place with the buildings looking different so that has nothing to do with LOD

ok. I'll go and do my own test and report back with screenshots

I do not care about what any specific picture shows or does not show, I am just telling you what Asobo changed, as confirmed by FSDT and others. So if one particular building or subset of autogen looks different for a different reason, it doesn't matter, you are simply wasting your time. We already know what they changed or did not change, and how it affects the sim.

Relax, I was in the beta, I know all about the lod issue, I was the first to report it and post a video that was reported and deleted.

OK, but not everything in the Beta made it through obviously, which is why people were spewing the silliness that no changes were made. One change removed does not mean no changes, yada yada yada. I lost track of what people were arguing or who was arguing what, but I was just doing my part clarifying.

I know that. The same LOD problem that I posted, Asobo reverted it to the SU4 version at the last min and gave us that build, the build we all have now

Yes, everyone knew that (or most everyone), the confusion was people were stating it as if it meant absolutely no LOD changes were made to the engine. In reality, they changed just about everything but that.
