MSFS v 1.18.14.0 should be GROUNDED NOW

Due to all the bugs that MS/ASOBO has now introduced with the latest SU5 update the complete game/sim should be sent back to the development department and grounded. It is unplayable with so many different issues popping up all the time.

Time to move on to other hobbies.

Resignation is one of the hazardous attitudes in aviation. But I do agree with MSFS should be grounded so is X-Plane and P3D. Too many bugs! LOL

Nothing special here ... except that my old i7 4790k and my GTX 1080 give me enormous satisfaction in 1440p.

I completely canceled my new PC investment. (3000 euros)

Incredible performance better brightness and tree draw distance significantly improved.

We always want more...but

I am very satisfied with my 80% Render Scaling settings.

Terrain Level of Detail : 100

Objects Level of Detail:100

V-Sync on / Fram rate Limit 30.

As smooth as silk.

So I leave the sim for a few months and come back to find Assobo are still breaking the world. It look like there are still only 3rd party prop planes too...no jets? I guess I will give it a few more months...

I just had 3 hours of wonderful flying. I took the A32NX. First I wanted to fly from Munich to Hamburg.

But the graphics was so mind blowing good with 60 FPS on ULTRA on my 48‘‘ LG OLED That I leveled off at 3000ft and went slow and low directly to the alps.

just wow. I love this sim.

The PMDG DC-6 is quite enjoyable from what I've heard, but I haven't installed it yet myself. Still a prop I guess, but it might fill in some satisfaction. I wouldn't wait THAT long, I think the SIM will get better on the next patch hopefully.

But, the game is fully playable as-is right now, I think people misunderstanding what some are saying. It just looks a bit strange in some aspects and has additional quirks that weren't there before, and it seems to be more finnicky with CTD. From the dev side, it's a bit more of a nightmare though, but you won't have to deal with that just as someone playing it.

Well. Then you will miss out on the best sim there is by far.
But hey. Everyone to his own liking.

i mean just watch this. And I took that video with my mobile phone from my screen. It’s nothing but awesome.

I respect your point of view but disagree. I would regret seeing it grounded. It works just fine for me, despite I see room for improvement.

It's still the best simulator I ever had, and I know them all.

Kind regards, Michael

Totally agree with what you say and it's a pity some are having many issues including CTD of which I have had 1 thus far

My thinking exactly - a similar thread was closed in the P3D forum a few days ago. Moreover, that thread actually contained substance and evidence ...

The title of this thread was a bit "overdone", as others noted no point in grounding anything. Just need to slow it down and fix the issues. I'm not sure what  "no evidence" you are speaking of, but the lists of issues is long and vast for sure. If you can ignore them, that's good, as you get deeper into it various things will crop up.

I would even guess it's closer to 90/10, maybe even 95/5 ratio if not more.

This is an universal case that only the negative experience are expressed and non-issue cases never get mentioned.

Non-issue cases are too busy flying. I’ll be back.

Yeah everyone has their own liking for sure!

I haven't updated the sim for a couple of months at least so can't comment on the CTD's. I had a couple the last time I tried so decided to leave it a while in the hopes Assobo would fix it.

I also hoped there would be a jet or two released by now. I love the props, but wanted something faster with more people carrying opportunities. Again, like you said, everyone to their own liking...

Perhaps they should revert back to the version in use prior to the update.

What is he exaggerating? It is absolutely unplayable for me.

then tell us why, maybe the cause can be found.

for me its really good now. yes there are issues but i find workarounds, this has always been necessary in previous flightsims.

so be it.

A good airliner takes years to create. MSFS is 1 year old.
