i think your pics are very very good yes, sometimes a bit too much white in the clouds , but how the h can that be an issue.

I was away from the dev side and forums for 3 months, I loaded it up a few times, had a few flights, etc...

 

Yup parked my plane in the desert.
 

Throttle randomly doesn’t respond unless I’m im 3rd person. 
 

the heat at altitude makes it impossible to fly above 20,000 ft. 
 

Random CTDs tho not as many as before the hot fix.  
 

… I could go on.

I have this popup problem like everyone else. it depends on the context but I am confident for its improvement.About the clouds before it was too dark for me .I prefer like that even if it's too white.

Strange how performance fluctates on our systems. 

I have a blast after latest hotfix with medium PC 70% 4K ULTRA mostly LOD 200 @30Fps/60HZ Vsync on

No going back!  SU5 - probably not perfect for a few but definitely a big step forward for the majority.

I know a lot of folks don’t want to hear it, but I’m really not having issues. Sure, if I compare a cloud or some tree, maybe I can see a difference, but otherwise, my experience is OK.

With a huge variance between hardware and software configurations, I tend to think the old 80/20 rule applies. Doesn’t mean the 20% don’t count or should be ignored, but they need to keep in mind that they aren’t part of the 80%.  

I really think everyone needs to stop expecting miracles with each update.  Aboso are learning as they go and this is a ten year project so put the word not allowed joystick/flight yokes down and go get some fresh air!  Come back in a year or two when most of the issues are sorted and have some fun!

 

This needs to be thought of as an Alpha release at this point and people need to play at their own risks!

Please give me back my visuals! I'll accept the FPS hit. And for anyone using MSFS on a laptop or console go take a jump.

Interesting.  But first and foremost, I (we) bought the sim.  I bought the sim to play it, not spend the few precious hours of time I have in a week to debug.  That's what I paid someone else to do.  With your concept, if you bought a new car and were excited to take it on a road trip but only made it down your driveway before returning home to "debug", you won't be irritated and annoyed?

I understand growing pains, but there is a different between that and where this sim (and many other sims and add-ons) require of us.  To name a few, I don't think LM, MS, CS, Wico, Aerosoft, and to a certain extent ORBX knows what's their doing.  I feel, there are just doing stuff to give image.

for me its really good now. yes there are issues but i find workarounds, this has always been necessary in previous flightsims.

Vanilla sim. No mods. Nothing. Usually I get straight crashes. When I don’t then I get 30 second pauses every few minutes and microstutters looking around. But I get more FPS! It’s wonderful.

An absolutely fantastic game, best in the last 10 years imo (MSFS excepted 😉 ) and now's the time to get it on PC (if you're an nvidia user) as the DLSS update dropped a couple of weeks ago and it's running and looking better than ever.

A warning though.... the first couple of hours are a pretty boring, slow slog. Dont let that put you off... once it gets past that its a masterpiece.
