August 4, 20214 yr I decided to you know, follow the thread title and do a comparison shot of my own. Both are these are on high preset with motion blur turned off Here's a screenshot from July 18th And here's a screenshot from 10 seconds ago I can't see any difference in sat imagery or photogrammetry quality. TAA quality is notably worse making the image look sharper than before, and the image is brighter because of new exposure settings. Also proof the top screenshot pre-dates SU5 Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38

Great, and I want them to revert the other things broken on my sim that have been reported by many others. If you are perfectly happy with your sim, stay out of these threads where many people are identifying the issues a d testing possible solutions. Just keep saying you are fine doesn't help. There is NO valid reason for MS/Asobo to change this other than they don't want anyone to provide this functionality? I'm guessing because it would compete with their own Season update in 2022? <-- That you know of... Sorry for being 'toung-in-cheek' and I (seriously) have the utmost respect for you, Rob, but unless you have access to their source code or something, please stop with the 'conspiratorical' theatrics. Sorry, for the outburst! (Oh, boy - I'm gonna catch hate for this one ^^) Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471
August 4, 20214 yr Before Su5 (again, high preset, motion blur turned off, no config tweaks) After. The only graphical downgrades I can see is with TAA (and the over exposure IMO, but some people here actually like that). Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38
August 4, 20214 yr Before After (the sat imagery quality is better, but that is probably because it hadn't fully loaded in the top shot, or I might be closer to the ground in the after shot) Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38
August 4, 20214 yr Fly more, complain less. Prepar3D was "this and that" because of all the "necessary tweaking" but after all MSFS is the same? SMH. Well, also the overexposure might be justified at this point, due to the scorching heat that brings the atmosphere to 50 °C at 30,000 ft 🙂 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber
August 4, 20214 yr I've yet to see this extra haze some people have pointed out. Before after Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38

You start by saying all you see are improvements, then you admit over exposure and now you add CTDs! It is not 'my loss' because MSFS is not working consistently and I'm obviously seeing more visual degradation than you are, therefore other products are currently giving me more pleasure to use. If everything is fine for you, why don't you keep your gloating comments to yourself and allow the rest of us to discuss the issues. I am quite happy to read 500 threads just like this one because at some point someone may discover some cfg change or other setting that brings back the glory that MSFS once was. August 4, 20214 yr I almost always run with live weather on, so it's harder to recreate the same conditions. I finally found some haze, but it's also there in the before image. Before: After: Some static objects don't have the same render distance as before, like those baggage carts or whatever they are on the bottom right. But that could be an LOD issue. I might also be farther away, hard to tell. Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38

I never said it was just improvements. It's mostly improvements, and I was referring to performance. And I never said there were no CTDs. Before, I even complained about some in other threads on this board. But now the only ones I get is from the FBW A320. I haven't had an unrelated one in a few days. I've also been complaining about the over exposure for the last couple days. Try and keep up. Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38

August 4, 20214 yr Tuskin38, I really value your efforts to show us that the sim is still great. And somehow, still is. But man, downgrade and a plethora of bugs are officially acknowledged by Asobo. Stop it. It´s ok. Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Aristoteles Iñigo Bildarratz
