how does it work in MSFS if two different payware's attempt to modify the same thing?  For example, if each of these two attempt to modify the same bridge?

I was wondering about that. It also appears that this New York Scenery is Photogrammetry only. The bridges don't really work (they lead nowhere) if PG is off. Plus, even the George Washington bridge is default......

Ok, if anyone is curious, I took a quick flight around the city if you want to see how it looks in use, and are curious about framerates.

Side note, the base sim does have a hand made Empire State Building model, but it only shows up if you disable Photogrammetry

Which is contrary to other Photogrammetry cities in the sim where they show the hand crafted buildings on top of the photogrammetry.

THIS is exactly what I’d hoped someone would do since the first time I saw NYC in MSFS.  I am actually a fan of photogrammetry, but was always a tiny bit bummed when viewing it at street level.  Obviously that isn’t the intent for PG, but like I said i had always hoped some developer (Samscene in this case) would mix hand built with the base PG to get the best of both worlds.  Having the photogrammetry city as a base means that you still get detailed modelling of all of the “other”’buildings that you wouldn’t have gotten using something like autogen.  So you get to have your cake and get to eat it too.  Can’t wait to do a fly through with the showcase camera.  I haven’t lived in Manhattan in over 10 years and it will be fun to feel like I’m back there again - now even at street level!

Well done Samscene!

There's an excellent collection of bridges for NY and some from NJ here (with no FPS impact, as I own both):

Yes! Those include the Delaware river bridges from Wilmington,DE,  through the Philadelphia, PA area, on up to Trenton, NJ.  They are really great.  I lived in that area for 12 years and have much appreciated his creations for MSFS.

I believe the Philadelphia area bridges is a separate package that can be found at Flt.Sim.to., I don't think they're included with the NY Bridges Package.

I have both packages.

Looks like Samscene stepped up their game a little.  Just purchased New York and loading the sim can't wait!

What does this Sam scene NY gives that the default NY and Bridges (freeware) doesn't.

Does anyone else think their Empire State Building looks too small?  I plan to toggle the mod on and off with Asobo’s default to compare.  I’m just judging it against several nearby buildings which I know are not taller than it.

This is very authentic as the vehicles are going about 100 mph over the bridges. 🙂
