Aerosoft Simple Traffic might become rescued

A good traffic addon is more important than an extra ultra detailed airport, it is more immersive, both are complementary and needed. I do not understand after one year we are in the same place without a good traffic addon like the excellent X Plane WT3.

i find Just Flight Traffic Global for XP11 better....sooooooo much air traffic with real schedules and no fps hit for me👍 amazing xp11 immersion addon.

Not sure that I need more than what I have already 😉

Actually it has to be seen how good Simple Traffic actually will be, but any improvement over the default will be welcome, notably for the less technically-talented users.

Show your pix a special addon or something self-made?

Kind regards, Michael

Unfortunately, this is not XP11 so your comment is kinda irrelevant don't you think?

Michael,

I'm using the IVAO models combined with this https://flightsim.to/file/18285/easy-airlines-aircraft-matching-with-default-live-traffic (v. 1.2) and this https://flightsim.to/file/17471/static-ai-europe.
And as you can see I'm using Online AI.

Aren't lots of aircraft models now missing because AIG refused to let them be used? The freeware developer said that as a result many models had to be withdrawn from the easy airlines matching pack and that we need to make them ourselves.

That's exactly the combo I installed a few days ago. Seems indeed a huge improvement over default. Didn't do much testing on major aiports so far, but I'm quite pleased.

Kind regards, Michael

I was using this system and I found it really good, but ultimately I had to remove it...  unfortunately my system is very susceptable to mini-stutters when converting non-native msfs models to msfs format, even when the model is already in the CVT folder having been seen before, and so coming into something like Heathrow or Gatwick, it was a real pain.

For the same reason, I had to dump the GAIST shipping mod.   (Having said that, the new version with native format models currently under testing is just superb 🙂

Not sure why my set-up seems to be so adverse to the non-native MSFS models, but such is  life.

I do accept that the default Asobo planes in their low LOD formats are not the greatest,  but anything that adds traffic in the right liveries is something I will go for ASAP until something better comes along with native format models.

I actually miss the system I had, that you are using, but when compared to the stuttering on conversion versus the default models..  the stuttering version lost for me.

Same here  but I saw an improvement with SU5. Before SU5, none of the GAIST ships even showed up in my MFS install. And no CVT file. They do now.

I have both, and for me is still World Traffic 3, the same practically in that like the Just Flight and more. For me WT3 the best air traffic addon released ever for a simulation platform. Where the Just Flight fail a bit in my opinion is in the a bit unrealistic flight model of their planes.

Unfortunately to many issues with that, aircraft stuck on runway or takeoff is slow (in the aircraft.cfg section there is 55kts lol but when changing it to a more realistic values we have other issues) ... Lightning issues still FS9 models in there converted to FSX ...

All models a mix of legacy or modern flight models.

Textures issues memory leaks during long flights, contact points of the AI aircraft floating in the air 😉

Not correct converted AI I can go on 😉 Non native models for MSFS 😉 Ai disappearing after landing or sunk into the ground...

After landing the AI is floating in the air at the gate...

That may be all good and true. However, those white-blue, white-yellow or whatever "airlines" or just empty airports are no alternative either, in my mind.

I am positive, really convincing solutions will come up within the next couple of years, though. Maybe AIG, maybe Traffic Global for MSFS, maybe a new kid on the block. Personally, I would *love* to see UTL for MSFS, but this is stone-dead according to the F1 forum.

Kind regards, Michael

Well if that is fine by your standards enjoy the traffic.
I have tested it and made my own to and tested thorough enough to choose a different route...

As for the OP great news hope they have all native stuff 😉
