September 3, 20214 yr The TV was all set up, WOW..... I did a bad thing...I load a youtube vid of a flight I did in DCS and sat 80cm away (4k ofc) as that would be my viewing distance if i used it for the PC, to big, but the 48" would be perfect. As for 4k and the quility, stunning, I will now have to go 4k with a LG OLED but will wait 2 years as now is not the time for all that. But wow... the F-18 VC on 55" at that range was like sitting it in and all seems life like size..well no I think it was a bit to big...lol...a sim changer for sure. I am going to be around 3 feet away by the time I am setup, so I am hoping that will be enough, I can always budge back another quarter foot if needed. Edited September 3, 20214 yr by Ianrivaldosmith

Ian I looked up a few youtube setting vid's, on setting up the TV right, you probely have done the same but to give you idea, this was one I followed I ended up with EXPERT BRIGHT. September 3, 20214 yr LOL, and here I am wondering if an eventual upgrade to a 27 inch 2K monitor from my 23 inch 1080p will be too much on my desk.... 😄 Ken

Otherwise the pixels are just too big. Even my old GTX980 Ti drives 1440p really well. September 4, 20214 yr I thought 1440p was 2K, so I'm a little confused about your post. Are you suggesting 2K or 1440p is best on a 23 or 24" monitor, and 4K is best on all larger monitor sizes, including 27"? Ken
September 4, 20214 yr All you need to know is for a 27” 1440 is best. My Samsung G7 is stunning and comes in 27” or 32” Why is 1440 best imo, Because 4K needs a big GPU and 1440 does not, so you will get a lot more FPS. David Murden.
