September 8, 20214 yr For those still having CTDs or anomalies that cannot be attributed to the contents of their Community folder, one potential solution is to delete both the Content.xml file and all of the scenery indexes. No harm can be done, both are recreated when the simulator is next run, but many anomalies can be fixed this way.
September 9, 20214 yr If you get an 'error 3' when downloading any item in the Marketplace or Content Manager , it means your credentials aren't good enough to be entitled to it. I had to file a issue at Zendesk when I downloaded WU 1 Japan last week because I got an 'error 3'. They fixed it for me in 2 days (you have to tell them your gamertag and MS email/password so they can check what you own). Everyone who owns MSFS should be entitled to all the World Updates, I think that's true. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Very strange Hi, In my case I discovered that Windows was corrupted (ntdll.dll module). So I've re-installed Windows from scratch. I'm finishing now the WU6 sceneric update. I hope all the CTDs will finish. Regards.

I can search for the content.xml file easily enough, but where can I find the scenery indexes? Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
