September 23, 20214 yr I haven't flown the JF arrow for months. Got it out of the hangar today, and on takeoff roll the aircraft feels like it is in a severe crosswind. Almost full rudder required as it accelerates to keep it from veering off the runway. I have played with rudder sensitivity, but doesn't seem to help much. I don't like to turn rudder assist on because I don't need it for any other aircraft. Has anyone else seen this?

Yes - I have been flying recently with the V3 mod for the Beechcraft but took the JF Arrow out and noted exactly what you said, a lot of rudder. Also feels twitchy at rotation where it was pretty smooth last time I flew it. September 23, 20214 yr Author Not only that, it's airspeed is lower than a C 152. I am at 5000 feet now, 24 squared, and it is reading 105 knots. After this flight, it is going back in the hangar, and I am putting it on blocks. The Carenado aircraft I have, sorry to say, handle and fly much better. Edited September 23, 20214 yr by Bobsk8
September 23, 20214 yr Was there another update patch that I missed? I haven't flown it in about a week, but I hadn't noticed this behavior. Can't see how things could have changed without having applied an update.
September 23, 20214 yr The last few days I used the Arrow a lot. I do not recognize any of the issues mentioned here. I have no trouble at all to keep her on the centreline, with just a little help from the right foot. Also, cruisespeed is about 130-140 knots. Have you updated yours, or better yet, what version is yours. I have version 9.0? Edited September 23, 20214 yr by Bobsk8
September 23, 20214 yr Author OK, I just discovered on approach that I had been flying a two hour flight with one notch of flaps down. I kept looking at the lever, and it looked like it was all the way down, but I have tool tips turned off, and couldn't see that it was up one click. 🤥 I just tried a takeoff with a bit of nose up trim, and that seemed much better. September 23, 20214 yr I don't have the Arrow installed anymore, but both the Turbo version and Warrior works fine for me. System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I
September 23, 20214 yr This is the standard Arrow ? Will test it. Trim and mixture come to mind. It has always needed nose up trim on take-off and a bit of leaning even at low altitude. Another possibility is a glitch in the state saving = have people tried turning state saving off?
