Yes. Looks like I needed to tweak the color in Nvidea Control Panel.

Makes sense. I could do a 27” 4K with true g-sync, but I think I’ll be disappointed going down in size. All of the 32” 4K with true g-sync that I’m finding are insanely expensive. 

With the 49”, do you see more of the cockpit horizontally when zoomed out?

I was in NY, but moved to GA recently.

If the 32" 1440p monitor is "in your face" or you have exceptional eyesight, you may notice the pixels but for most people at a reasonable viewing distance it is fine.

1440p on a 32" is pretty much identical pixel density to a standard 24" 1080p .

• If you find a generic 1080p 24" is OK for you, then go with the 32" .
• If you find a generic 24" 1080p annoying with obvious pixels, with your eyes, at your viewing distance drop back to 27 " . 

The main motive to go 4K on 32" is more desktop space when working on spreadsheets, in Blender, or in Photoshop/Indesign etc .  You primarily go 4K for productivity reasons rather than pixel density.

I currently have a 27" and sit at arms length from my monitor. But going to a 32" will not give me more "space" as it still would be 1440p, correct?

27" fits well on my desk and I feel like 32" might be too big...But then the 32" is CHEAPER then the 27" right now on Amazon...

Yep, the 32 " in productivity apps will just make all the icons etc larger  you will have the same desktop real estate just blown up bigger.

I use a 32" 1440p and find the extra size in game does help immersion.  Often it is more a case of "what you are used to" and whilst a bigger screen may seem huge for a few days, eventually you will not go back. (much the same way "massive " TVs of 15 years ago are now seen as bedroom and guest room size)

Two considerations:

• in terms of physical screen size the actual viewable screen itself is 4" wider so basically add 2" to each side
• the actual screen itself matters, a bezel-less screen on a light weight slim stand takes up much less space than a screen with a bezel all round on a big chunky stand, some 27" with bigger bezels are not really that much smaller than a slim/bezel-less 31.5"/32" .

i went 32 inch 4k. I have an LG UN880B.  I can easily tell the difference between 1440p and 4k in msfs, it's night and day.  

If you have the hardware to go 4k don't even think about it do it.  

I was running this monitor off a 2015 Asus ROG laptop with a GTX 965M for over a year i had to run in 1300 something horizontal resolution with mostly medium settings to get 20ish fps. 

I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 9 5900x and 3080 Ti desktop.  On SU9 in 4k i was getting a solid locked 30fps with everything ultra and TLOD at 350.  On the current beta 10 i had to drop TLOD down to 200 in order to have mostly 30fps, it's not looking good on DX11 or DX12 with TAA or DLSS.

Bottom line.  I'll never give up 4k after seeing what it can do. 

With a 3080 Ti the GPU is not the limiting factor, i rarely see over 70% even in 4k with everything ultra.  It's 100% a main thread thing for me due to 200+ TLOD settings. My monitor is 60hz so 30fps locked with vsync is more than smooth enough. 

I had the same dilema.  I had a 24 inch 1080 for years and was wondering whether to get a 27 or a 32 inch 1440.  I chose the 32 inch curved screen and am really glad I did.

The upgrade resulted in quite a performance hit though, which took me a while to resolve in the settings (you don't need anywhere near as much anti-aliasing in 2K as you do in 1080).

My 5600X and RTX3070 was great in 1080 but struggled in places at 1440. I've now upgraded to an RTX3080 and looking at a 5800X3D in the near future.  I do run nearly everything 'ultra' though.

When choosing screen resolution and size, you also need to think about your viewing distance as well as hardware limitations.

I sit close to it so the curve is perfect on the eyes as your focus distance is the same for both edgers of the screen to the center. 

Unless I get silly close I cannot see the pixel. I do sit very close, my nose to center screen is no more than 500mm.

I love it, its a fantastic screen and worth very penny I paid for it. My son bought one the next day after seeing mine.

I also love the size, I had a 27" and the 32" is great for the extra size. If you can see pixel within MSFS then you have truly amazing eye sight. Or your siting way to close.

£450 is a margin, I paid £650. Still dont reget it, Just looked and they only have 3 left..............

very happy with 34” 1800R curved Alienware next-gen QD-OLED,

superb flight sim monitor…

While this would definitely be future proof, however, I feel like like my 3080/hardware for MSFS is still not powerful enough for 4k... 

If you feel like spending £1200 over £450 sure it will be even better but 4k on a 9900 and a 3080. I like the head room a 1440p gives me, but thats upto you. 🙂
