The expensive guy that your local GA field makes you use and then slips you a bill at the end of the month!! I have a way to make him go away and not bother you anymore. Why would this guy bother me? And messing around with core sim files is almost always a bad idea. Post about "MSFS is stuck in an endless loop" incoming........
November 10, 20214 yr Isn't it the slider "Worker density" in the Traffic panel made for that ? Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam
November 10, 20214 yr Author I moved mine to zero and they still showed up. That is the reason I resorted to a bit of sleuthing to locate and amend the file. However, some folks systems may react differently with a good outcome to zeroing the slider. Cheers...Kenny.
November 10, 20214 yr I think there's also a setting in the aircraft.cfg file to get rid of them, but don't no if it still works. James
November 10, 20214 yr Author Hi James. I tried that also by changing the 1 in the appropriate line to a 0 but the guy was still there. That's why I had to search a bit deeper for my answer. However, it may not be the best solution according to previous replies. It may be better to wait for an official proper solution. The thing is, the folks at Asobo may like having the small pushback in place. Who knows? Cheers...Kenny.

I remember setting that quite a while back and verifying that it removed the pushback tug from my plane (the parking spot I started from and only the parking spot ATC directed me to after landing). That was many updates ago and I haven't worried about it since. I think even the Arrow uses it in their aircraft.cfg to remove the pushback tug but I haven't flown the Arrow in a while. James

The periodic sim update (one is coming next week) checks your default files quickly and if one is not identical to the default, it may take 120 GB for the patch, instead of 12 GB. Or the update process might get stuck in a loop downloading one of the many files over and over again. November 14, 20214 yr Author Hi Fielder. Thanks for the heads up regarding the update. I have now renamed that pushback file back to its original name. It's true what is said in that a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. Cheers...Kenny.
