Aerosoft announced the release date before AIG did.

He is talking about something that ST has no control over, Default, ST and AIG all have the exact same issue so it's irrelevant.  ST never claimed they were re-writing the Asobo AI traffic behavior.

I have been using Online Traffic for many months, no wonder I never saw any aircraft taking off before.

Seems like they're charging money for something much less than what AIG have released in a Beta state, think I'll pass but hope it works out well for those that buy into it.

This same discussion was held at the P3D Avsim Forums for a long time, and compared to all AI Traffic payware programs out there at the time, AIG beat them all, and it's free!.

Yep, and certainly not something that ST has any control over.  It's an Asobo issue.

Sadly until ST and AIG came along a think a lot of us didn't realize how broken the default AI system is in MSFS.   I'm also yet to figure out how to control parking so I don't have cargo airlines at gates etc etc...

This is one of those areas Asobo really need to focus on to get the basics of AI being able to spawn, taxi, take off follow a flight plan and taxi in.   I personally didn't realize how borked it was but to be fair AI always required 3rd party dev's to get right...

Edit: Also appears the deluxe KATL and a few other airports are badly affected.... Nothing to do with ST or AIG:

In the aircraft.cfg "atc_parking_types=" is how the AI (and ATC) determine parking.

https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/index.htm#t=Content_Configuration%2FSimObjects%2FAircraft_SimO%2FAircraft_Config_Definition.htm&rhsearch=atc_parking_types&rhhlterm=atc_parking_types

But the airports themselves also need to have the proper parking spots as well for it to work.

Is there an ADE for MSFS where I can grab a bunch of gates and assign them to UAL for example.  I'd love to see accurate parking now we are getting some AI

I already bought it, can't you read?   Cheez......

I bought this today and initially my aircraft would not spawn at my hub airport (KDEN), which happens to be a payware airport by Flightbeam which I purchased on the Marketplace.  After uninstalling the Flightbeam Denver all is good. I hope that gets worked out because I miss the Denver Airport scenery.

I think Simple Traffic is a vast improvement.

If I just want traffic arriving and departing in a realistic manner from where I am at -not really fuzzed about REAL schedules or if the model is 100% accurate. I just want traffic that feels realistic, which would be best suited? Simple traffic or AIG?
