Microsoft Store update....(edited) Library now bottom left

Featured Replies

Well, I just checked for download updates...and the STORE itself just got updated.  (Edited)  Look for your Library at the BOTTOM LEFT, which had always been at the top right....

It's not 8am pacific yet. Why would you mess around with this prior to the official release time?

Isnt it at the bottom left corner, the book shelf icon??

Well, I just checked for download updates...and the STORE itself just got updated.   Now...it's all to sell you...and I can no longer find the download option...or my MSFS purchase.    What B.S....and just in time before the GOTY update.   What a company M.S. is...

Wait until later today and then get word not allowed if you find something amiss.  To prematurely grip about something knowing a major release is hours away is crazy.

Hey, cool down 😉

Updates are now hidden in the Library (down on the left side of the app), but not good enough - found them 😁. But I agree with you - what did they think?

Last time, I didn't update via the store, but via the xbox app...

I was looking at the top right...never the bottom left...will look now....geez!

POST EDIT:

Got them....and who would look there?  Tiny...bottom left?!?!?   Thanks...so ok...blood pressure dropping...but at least this thread and quick resolution will point to where the library has migrated from top right to bottom left of screen.

Dillon, not if you can't find your library where it has always been located for years...that's is not crazy...that is scary!   Resolved now...they moved it to the bottom left of the M.S. Store update.  Why?  Who knows?  I just edited the Thread Title to reflect that the Library is now to be found at the bottom left of the Store display.  So...now the thread will just alert those whose store has not yet updated....

Yes it is, and I have now edited to just give a Head's Up to all where to look for their Library...and yes, bottom left now.

I've always had good success with updated the little whatever update in the store before then running MSFS and then allowing the update to proceed.

Well, because I know that they will also update any other needed files, like they indeed did....RUNTIME's....two files, and Xbox update.  All that is now updated, so I'm ready to rock and roll, later on this afternoon...

It's less than an hour away.

For some reason, my msfs has been downloading updates in the x box app rather than the store. No idea why it suddenly started doing there's a few updates ago.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

And breathe! All this furore over a simple update to MS Store?🤨 I assume this is either the "new" MS Store they advertised following the launch of Windows 11 or a precursor to that. Nothing to panic about. I see the Store icon has had a little remake too.

@Sesquashtoo, a little tip: You can multi-quote by pressing the + sign next to the word quote, instead of making the thread unnecessarily long by quoting each person in a separate post, then clicking on "Quote x posts" in the bottom right of your screen. Like this:
