December 11, 20214 yr EDIT: Disregard the below, I was thinking of the Minimums display box, not the RA. I am not seeing the RA show up on the G1000NXi even when low down at minimums. My understanding is with the latest NXi update, the RA should show up when within 2500ft of the ground. Turboprops, biz jets and airliners almost always have them, but not smaller aircraft. Perhaps RA vs. no RA is airframe specific with the latest version of the NXi? A class B TAWS (which the NXi emulates) can provide GPS-derived “pseudo RA” for annunciating DH or MDA on an approach, but it won’t provide continuous height readout above underlying terrain the way a true RA will. No throttle. Couldn't turn off the AP so I could pull the nose up. Nothing. Then all of a sudden It dropped to 88 kts in a second or two, and everything worked again. Go figure. Roy Install the beta.

Yeah, it's in the default g1000(C208b), sure miss it with the NXi not being there. Hope it gets added back someday.
