Was offered the upgrade from V9.2.

they didn't offer it to me ☹️, I guess you need to be on SU7 beta 1.21.18.0 then? I am still only on 1.21.17.0

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

But once the MFD is on, the reversionary mode of course goes away. I didn't find a way to switch the MFD back off again in the approach phase to get back the RM.

from the original manual, don't think this is implemented in MSFS yet:

"Reversionary mode may be manually activated by pressing the Audio Panel’s red DISPLAY BACKUP Button.
Pressing this button again deactivates reversionary mode"

In the event of a display failure, the system can be manually switched to reversionary (backup) mode (all
remaining displays enter reversionary mode). In reversionary mode, all important flight information is presented
on the remaining display(s) in the same format as in normal operating mode.
If a display fails, the appropriate IAU-display Ethernet interface is cut off. Thus, the IAU can no longer
communicate with the remaining display (refer to Figure 1-5), and the NAV and COM functions provided to the
failed display by the IAU are flagged as invalid on the remaining display. The system reverts to backup paths for
the ADAHRS/AHRS, ADC, Engine/Airframe Unit, and Transponder, as required. The change to backup paths
is completely automated for all LRUs and no pilot action is required

Not in the Porter at least. I have still to find the red button. There is no vertical bar with the audio panel as shown in the manual. The audio panel comes with the Bendix.

FYI, just posted on the WT Discord site:

"Hello @everyone, we now have the 0.10.1 hotfix available on the Marketplace, which fixes issues with being unable to proceed past bootup on certain aircraft. As always, this is an Early Access Opt-In Beta, so there may be bugs or missing features! Please give us feedback and reports on Discord in our nxi-early-access🥩 channel.

Head to the sim Marketplace to grab the NXi, or go to Content Manager to download the update.

You can find the full (and tiny) release notes here: https://www.workingtitle.aero/packages/nxi/2021/12/10/nxi-release-v0.10.1.html  "

from the manual you just posted, that everyone praises, and no one reads, according to captain Mark Twain:

The G1000NXi red Display Backup button is clickable and animates in the DA-62 and Bonanza G36 Turbo, but unfortunately nothing happens with the PFD or MFD displays when you toggle it.   🙁  I haven't checked any other aircraft.

Amazing work !!!!!

Thank you
Stefano

Looking forward to updating this! Also hoping they spend some time on the G3000/5000 suite. Would be great if we could some new features. I know, this stuff isn't easy and takes time, but it'd be a welcomed update for sure!

I went to content manager and installed the latest G1000nxi upgrade.  Everything is working fine, but it changed everything back to Easy.  I've got to write my settings down.  Looks like their going to keep changing them.

I didn't know they were changed until I was going 209 kph on final into KORD.  Everything just quit working. No throttle. Couldn't turn off the AP so I could pull the nose up. Nothing.  Then all of a sudden It dropped to 88 kts in a second or two, and everything worked again.  Go figure.

It's a bug introduced in sim update 7.  Every time you access the content manager, your accessibility settings get reverted to "easy".
