We just lost the deadline for an update today (17:00 normally), so we have moved this to tomorrow. The main reason we needed more time was that the modelers asked me to allow them to work out some issues.

Wait, so does this mean the whole "it's too much load for the Xbox to animate" excuse that some people were so credulous about wasn't actually a real obstacle after all?

What is surprising is they released an aircraft and a couple of days later found all those things that needed fixing.

Agree with your observation.

Although I applaud their transparency, I went through the list and ended up wondering how on earth so many items were missed pre-release, which leads one to wonder about the thoroughness of their Beta testing.

& its not just Aerosoft.

It was Mr. MK.  He said he had given the date well in advance so he didn't want to miss it. 
I understand this, as people moan when dates are missed as well, but if he had just explained that it would be getting an urgent patch soon after release due to some last minute errors they had spotted, all the drama would have been alleviated.
Looks like he was just playing with us when he said the xbox wouldn't be able to take the trim wheel animation.  Maybe he just has a wicked sense of humour or likes to wind people up!
