Updates live on Aerosoft One

Seems like that aged about as well as @Kilo60's assertion in the other thread that the trim wheel animation "isn't going to be fixed in an upcoming patch!"   Or, for that matter, your certainty in the other thread that the XBox limitation excuse was a fact until it was proven otherwise, just because PR at Aerosoft said so.

Like I said upthread...  I think people are letting their personal grudges, whether it be against Aerosoft, or the Xbox, or "gamers", or whatever, give them some sort of derangement syndrome that is destroying any credibility they may want to have.  Maybe a few deep breaths and a return to reason could be helpful.

At least you've stopped with the childish "Twin Conner" namecalling.  I give you props for that. 😄

(I'm not defending Aerosoft in this, either.   I felt at the time that the XBox excuse was patently absurd, and explained why.   And was further supported on that by folks who've done actual plane development.  We still don't know the true story there, but the way folks have clung to that and shouted it to the heavens when it was, upon reflection, dubious is even more absurd.)

You just cannot leave it alone. They messed up, the proof in the pudding is they had to act. Now put your toys away and fly.

They messed up

"They messed up" is not what people were blowing their load over in the prior thread.   "MSFS is broken because of the stupid Xbox, and Aerosoft confirmed it!" is what people where gleefully enraged about, and that's now been shown to be a bunch of bunk.

But yeah, I'll leave it alone now, my point was made.  😄 At least until someone comes in to blow the same nonsense all over again and insist it's FACT...

The people's flag is deepest red.

Pretty sure some were upset by the smug attitude of the development team at Aerosoft too(not mentioning names), I know this is the main reason I didn't buy this plane. I may buy it and other Aerosoft products in the future if they, and the people running things there get decent reviews, but for now I'm holding off(if I can). Too bad, I really wanted this plane.

Square wheels, haven't seen that since FS 2004.

If i recall correctly (The thread seems to have disappered over on the Aerosoft site) was it not MK that stated the trim switch could'nt be modeled correctly due to Xbox limitations??

So instead of blaming folk that were quite rightly put out by that comment from the  PM of Aerosoft, what reaction do you expect?

You really have to zoom in to see that those wheels are squared, who does that under normal use:p(ok obviously people do). Its really nitpicking. Personally I spend 99% of my simming time in the cockpit, and when looking at the plane from outside I never zoom in that close to really notice things like that. Im very ok now with this product, atleast until a2a comes along, wich really is the type of depth im looking for...

Yes I agree nut it's hard to look at them after normal wheels in Kodiak, PC-6 and other planes LOL

I thought you couldn't see it? You really should be more thorough with your pre flight walk around check.😀

So apart from the xbox friendly wheels - is this thing fixed now?

Rolling stone, of course na person push am now!

The polygon wheels are just ever so slightly disappointing.  I would have expected double or triple the polygon count these days.  But no major grumble, and hey!  It saves you from having to chock the wheels when parking!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Haven't tried it myself but according to some on the official MS forum the sounds haven't been fixed at all. They've just adjusted the volume a little. Sounds like we're stuck with what AS gave us on that front.
